    Amazing video! i really do hope F1 doesnt die out, Although Formula E isnt too bad, it just isnt the same as F1. The sounds, the tracks, it just doesnt compare for me.

    Here in Brazil we can’t watch the podiums on tv , we need a account on a paid app and also next year we won’t have f1 on tv , I still don’t know how we are gonna watch it for the next years

    • @AlexTalksRacing

      Unfortunately until F1TV is available everywhere I think pay TV will be the way forward.

    It is, for good. The last 10-15 years was an unprecedented chain of disgraceful rules, decisions.
    Anyways, rats leaving the sinking ship, Renault, Honda, possibly Red Bull and Mercedes.

    I have been watching F1 since I was 4 in 2001, ever since then I enjoyed hearing the loud engines blaring the music above 16k rpms. Ever since the 'Hybrid Era' has begun, I shunned myself away from it. Now, I am subscribed to IMSA official on TH-cam, and enjoying the drama between the classes. That and the Isle of Man TT. Both pure racing.

    • @AlexTalksRacing
      @AlexTalksRacing  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The sound is important to the overall experience, however for me the racing has improved a bit over the last few years, just not at the front which is the issue. There's lots of decent racing across all series which makes being a motorsport fan amazing!

      @@AlexTalksRacing very true. I have to say the midfield battles that took place lately in 2020 has improved intensely. I enjoyed seeing someone other than Lewis winning the race, but you can only have one team being so dominant for so long, it just gets old and tiring fast, just like Michael Schumacher when he was with Ferrari, but not as drastically long. Hopefully the new regulations for 2021 brings my interests back a bit.

  • @Ciaran334
    @Ciaran334 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I used to love F1, but I just don't see how it's racing anymore. Real racing is going as fast as you can for every moment you can, this is not F1 with DRS etc.

    • @AlexTalksRacing
      @AlexTalksRacing  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The racing wasn't that great in the past and I think a lot of us are blinded by nostalgia (myself included)

    • @Ciaran334
      @Ciaran334 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AlexTalksRacing You know nostalgia is a great way to describe it. I've been watching V8 supercars, rallying and Bike road racing. It's all VERY exciting to watch. I feel I'm being let down by F1

    • @AlexTalksRacing
      @AlexTalksRacing  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Ciaran334 I think it's probably because those series haven't changed much over the years and they always provide good racing no matter what. When an F1 race is boring it's usually the same right the way through the field.

    Well f1 is already dead... if one of the biggest and most succesfull car manufacturers in racing (also in f1 as engine supplier) in porsche denies the opportunitie to join f1 you know it is done. The old days of improving the car the way you want to and seing different types of cars and engines are long gone and so is the soul of f1.
