You can teach your kids loving kindness at home. My mother taught us loving kindness to others. We watch her how she helped homeless people. I taught that to my kids. Don't wait until school does. Start from home. Anyone can do it. Every religion teach that. I am Buddhist but I know Christianity, Hindu, Muslim and all other religions teach the same basic meaning.
You are 100% correct! Thank you for sharing your wonderful example. I definitely agree that it starts with parents teaching their kids at home first. I think school plays a role in reinforcing the moral beliefs behaviours, but they are not solely responsible for teaching the kids.

Fascinating video. I am a both Hindu and Buddhist. One of the beautiful quality about hinduism and Buddhism is that they are not religion.They are way of life. Infact Gautama Buddha never spoke a word on religion. The core purpose of Buddhism and Hinduism (santana Dharma) is to produce conscios beings so that they can attain moksha/Nirvana. As long as people follow these teachings ,it doesn't matter what one religion is. That's the beauty of Hinduism and Buddhism. Also if we look at both Hinduism (santana Dharma) and Buddhism...I hardly find a difference.
EDIT: Its about time to spread the teachings through various means. Let's make this happen.
You are 100% correct! Buddhism is not a religion. There sure are similarities between Buddhism and Hinduism, but from my reading, I think there are some differences as well? In any case, I'm so glad you've embraced Buddhism while being a Hindu. Buddhism will help enrich people's practices as a Hindu/Christian/Muslim or any other faith because as you rightly pointed out, Buddhism is a way of life. And actually in Hinduism(sanathan dharma) have various sects in itself which has differences but points to the same thing like Dvait ,Advait,Vaishnavism,aghorism,shaivism,shaktism(including Buddhism ,jainism and Sikhism). They have minor differences but they point to same thing.Everything is same dharma explained in different ways . Which is why they are not religion. That's why these different expressions of same dharma is called sanathan dharma(eternal law) But no one explained the dharma as scientific ,as efficient as Gautama Buddha. In some sects of sanatana Dharma ,they consider Gautama Buddha as God/avatar.
Hinduism and buddhism are completely diffrent....most of the hindus see buddhism from hindu perspective thats y they get cnfusd....
@@nikhilganvir8263 Buddhism is not a different spirtual path. It's one of the many paths of Hinduism. Different paths of Hinduism are sometimes identical or completely different. There are many paths within Hinduism which is completely different from each other. But the approach of seeking truth/ultimate reality is same in all paths of Hinduism. More people get confused with the concept of Hinduism. Even 50% of Hindus don't know what is Hinduism.
EDIT: There are paths in Hinduism which is much much more different than other paths in Hinduism.
