I love finding old tools, in my area, guessing Paleo era. Not many experts to consult on these. All the Native American museums I've asked don't know much either, as these finds are much older.
Jade can be green, and many other colors depending on the minerals includedin the jade. The crust or outer weather- warn part can be white, grey, brown.
Look at the shape, imagine sharpening the broad edge, and you have an axe head. When I get the chance I'll show you a video of an axe head sharpened just like this one.
