I love having my embroidered pieces machine quilted. Once I got over the feD of it, it opened a whole a new world ! I hope this video opens some eyes 👀 to the possibilities!
Love this video! Thank you for letting me know that it can be quilted over the embroidery. I always send my quilts to be Longarmed to Missouri Quilts. ❤
Natalie- the mini quilt is so pretty! I'm going to check this out at MSQC. I'll be flying in a couple of months and I think it would be great to travel with❤ You all are so creative and inspirational
#321, #498, #814, #816. She's used her stash, but appears to have two skeins in the clip. In the description, there is a link to buy all the supplies needed, including the threads
@@chigson47 Thank you! Yes, I saw she had 3 choices I didn’t know which one was closer to the Santa. Plus, I mainly needed to know if she used 1,2,or 3 skeins and how many threads for the stitching? Guess I’ll go back and rewatch the video since I watched it late and watch the one for the stitch she used.
So nube question. I bought this. Is there a trick to using the hoop on areas already stitched so the other area stitches done don’t get squished or otherwise crushed? I plan to use a split stitch.
I couldn’t see the details of what you did. Did you hand or machine embroider it? Did you machine quilt over it? I didn’t receive much “tutoring” in this video.
Redwork is always done by hand. This is merely a project suggestion. And if you had watched the video, she said they DID machine quilt over it. True, not much of a tutorial. But I think it is a great suggestion.
Oh my gosh. So beautiful.
Just love Jenny and Natalie! I like that old fashioned Santa face. A treasure to be handed down for generations. 😊

Love that, Santa! Will put it on my list for sure. Thank you!
I know it's redwork but the first thought that popped into my head was green for the holly and black for soot on his hat.
Thanks! I have this panel and now is a great time to embroider it!

That is gorgeous redwork!
I like the idea of embroidery panel.
@@lindaparsons3356 There are a lot of quilts with hand embroidered blocks.
Very cool Santa. Love idea.
Beautiful. Thanks Natalie.
He is just beautiful!!
Love the Santa embroidery😊
I love it! Can't wait 😄
DMC 321 is redwork red.
Good to know. Thank you ❤

I used Valdani #5 O775-Proud Turkey which matched beautifully. Valdani is also color-fast (the thread does not bleed).
Great idea for Christmas. Thank you for sharing. ❤
I absolutely love this.
Love this 🎅
I love this! Thanks so much
Beautiful. Love it
Thanks. ❤❤
I love this!!
I love it!
Outlining the holly leaves in green would add a little pizazz, too.
I like that! great suggestion. And yes, it doesn't have to all be in red.
Love this❤
That is so cool!
How much floss did you need
I wish you had hung it up so we could see it better. The santa is beautiful!
Are there other panels besides Santa? I would love to do a Nativity!
I had Santa in my cart before the video ended 🎅🏻
I want to order the Santa panel, but wasn’t sure which color of dmc floss to order, and how many?

What would u go around this with to make bigger for Christmas throw
I wonder how this would look with the "Chenille-It" blooming bias
Did you stabilize the back?
What do you mean by "landing page"?
Hope you come out with more designs!
This is a Moda panel. Not an MSQ.
What color Kona matches the background of this panel?
What stitch did you use?
How much cost Santa panel pls? Thanks
How many strands did you use?

'red work' is usually hand sewn.

I would love to see the back of it.
I thought this was going to be a how to????? I was prepared to share with my friend that wants to embroidery hers.
Would have loved to seen the back.
They're doing embroidery too
I don't see this being a project tutoral at all..
She has numerous embroidery tutorials. I don't think they're so great, but there are others out there. It's just a suggestion.
