When i was 5 years old in 1985 my grandmas house was a few houses away from that place. we used to use the ticket booth as our playhouse. we thought it was some indian hutt not until recently i found out it was a historical site. Its weird to think that the place were we used to play was such a cool looking place. back then it was buried behind trees now you can see the ticket booth from the street. I had great memories of that place
I read about this place in the mag. How the heck are they going to rebuild if the place was torn down to the bare ground? I would guess many items used are no longer to be found anywhere anymore. Would be cool to give a hand there but, it dosen't look handicaped accesable. Or is it? Hummmmm.
As with George Dayner and Vincent Van Gogh, people were scared of that nut William Blake too. The townsfolk where he lived in England did not like him because he was a bit of a nudist and was eccentric and he was judged to be mentally ill. What is normal? He was not 'normal'. He also wrote fabulous poetry and i leave u with a quote abt the difference between artistry and apathy - 'Some are born to sweet delight; Some are born to endless night' How abt the guy that built the 'Coral Castle'?
