My Mom has been enjoying watching your videos. She's been painting with watercolors for bout ten years. But being 99 years old, energy is minimal. So she now enjoys watching you!
Thank you so much for sharing that with me Robin. What is your mom’s favorite thing to paint? I haven’t posted a video in a while but hope to get back to it soon so she can enjoy more forest content..
I am 73, a tea drinker, but also love cocoa. I just love your videos...I am so happy I found you.. and thank you so much...
I'm glad you're here, too :)
You have no idea how healing these videos are. I work a soul-sucking finance job and this is my escape. Love these nature tutorials.
Omg thank you so so much. It’s been wonderful to see these types of comments regarding my videos. There’s nothing better than finding a channel or digital creator that brings you moments of peace. 🌲🤍
this is the first time mountains made sense to me! thank you! your tutorials are the best!
That's amazing! Thank you so very much for sticking around and watching. I'm glad I could help!
7:1pm PT, I really enjoyed your mountains technique, and that Mayan blue range especially was great! Thank you, I am an experienced landscape painter, but picked up several hints from your video.
Thank you for watching! And that’s awesome that you took something away from this video. There’s always something to learn.
Hello Jackie. Im back here again, re-learning mountians. At first, my mountians came out fantastic and my trees were blobs. Now my mountians are steadily getting worse. I thought I'd look this video over to see if i forgot something.
My trees have improved, at least. I can make good ones about half the time, so i just need to practice more. I love the way you paint trees. I didnt appreciate your mountians until I started messing them up! Thanks again for your instruction. Wish me luck!
Hey hey! Thank you for leaving me a comment and sharing with me! I hope you’re feeling better about your mountains now. And happy to see that you’re loving your trees 🌲
Your tutorials on trees and now mountains are invaluable.
I’m glad you’re finding them helpful. Thank you! 🌲🌲🌲
Coffee Black, strong
I bought the brushes you suggested. Your videos are very helpful.
I have always struggled with painting mountains.
Tea drinker here. Green tea only. My husband loves coffee. 😊
I hope you like the brushes. Thank you for sharing 🤍🌲
I love tea and coffee only once a day
Coffee & Tea I love caffeine really
Your voice is the most soothing voice ever! It felt like painting with a friend. Thank you so much for this lovely tutorial. I've never enjoyed painting with watercolour so much!! Thanks again Jackie!
Omg that's such a kind comment, Anli! Thank you. I continue to be taken aback whenever I read about me having a calming voice; it's something I never would have thought would be valued. Haha it's such a pleasant surprise and warms my heart.
Thank you for watching and interacting with me.
I also see you on IG and love your account!
@@JackiePeacock I feel like someone's voice can make you feel a certain way and when I watched your video, it was like therapy. So soothing and it made me stay calm even when I got frustrated with how the mountains turned out. You used your voice to encourage and inspire. That was very special! I look forward to keep learning from you! Thanks so much Jackie :D
You know, I totally agree with you. I never thought about it that way, but there some some content creators that always draw me back in. Thank you for sharing that.
And I’m so happy that I can encourage. That’s really important to me. 🤍 Thank you. 🌲
You're welcome! I'm back again today to continue learnng from you! @@JackiePeacock
Hi Jackie, I've been painting as an amateur artist for a few years and I have never seen how mountains can be painted the way you've demonstrated. I find your ways of painting mountains more spontaneous and fun. Thank you so much for teaching me such great methods! Kelvin
Haha they are quite spontaneous. I love the freedom, and hope you do too.
Thank you for watching and finding value in my content, Kelvin! 🌲
I remember the times I was scared to try to paint mountains, but after I did just once, I've fallen in love with it. You are right, there are so many different styles of how to paint mountains and it's great, because we don't have to paint the same way. Lovely video, thanks for creating it ❤️
Thank you for your comment. I’m happy you agree, because there really are so many ways to paint.
Love your videos and painting style. I actually came to your channel for the trees but I figured some mountains might be fun to learn too. I'm a coffee drinker here... since my kids were born. lol. I also don't take dairy so I enjoy Silk Almond Vanilla creamer in mine. I want to like oat milk but I don't find it a creamy as people say.
Thank you and welcome!
Ooh you may like the nut pods creamer. That’s my favorite. I’m not the biggest fan of oat milk either.
I love these techniques! Thank you for sharing this with us.
Absolutely! Thank you for spending time with me on my channel. 🤍🌲
I learn a lots of thing madam and I also apply in my Watercolor
Thank you Jackie! I CANNOT paint mountains, I’ve ruined so many pictures…. So I’m excited to practise and practise your techniques!
You're welcome, Pam! I hope you enjoy what I've shared when you do them yourself.
And thank you so much for leaving me a comment and watching :)
Jackie, I totally enjoyed your video for mountains! I am a new water color painter I just started a couple months ago! The fact that you include your pallet to the left and your water to the right to see how you use them is so helpful! Looking forward to watching more of your videos. Thank you so much for what you do.
Hello Mary and welcome to the wonderful world of watercolor. I hope your painting experience is going well. Thank you for the kind feedback on this video.
I'm glad you liked it and won't be too disappointed in other videos that don't show my paints. But, I'm on the hunt for a palette that fits into view so I can show my paints and closer shots of the artwork. Thank you for watching and spending time with me on here.
This is wonderful! I am new to watercolor and can't wait to use this to try and make my own mountains! Thank you for your video!
Not bad for starters. Am pleased with my mountains
Woohoo, Nalini! I hope you continue to get the paintings and landscapes you’re after. 🌲🤍
I love this technique! Also love that you showed the whole process. Thank you!
Absolutely welcome! Thank you for watching 🌲
Cats are wonderful!!! I Can't imagine how I could live without one. They are so clearly just themselves, it is you that adapts ; you cannot shame a cat , they will look at you and seem to sat "what's your problem, " They can and do learn, they can know what " NO " means, but if they really want it and can get it.... it's theirs !!!!
Haha you definitely cannot change cats. Wild little things. Mine are so sassy lol
Both ! Depends on the time of day
I love love love this tutorial!! I’ve been painting watercolor for about 8 months and I am always searching for styles and techniques that I am comfortable with. I enjoyed seeing how you changed up different ways to paint the subject matter. Thank you for sharing!❤
Absolutely! There’s so many ways to paint. I spend most of my time experimenting and seeing what I can come up with. I’m glad to hear you’re liking these videos. Thank you so much for taking the time to watch and leave me a comment. 🌲🌲🌲
Coffee mornings, tea at night. I enjoy your laid-back approach and the "no one way" to do things. You simply showed us a few approaches, which is nice, because some may find one style better than another for their abilities/style. IMHO, agonizing over "how good it is or isn't" is one of the fastest ways there is to suck the fun out of a painting.
I hear you on that. I still have that mindset all the time. Hard to move past the voice in our heads.
Thank you so much for watching and enjoying the videos. 🌲
Watercolor is like training your Cat 🐈. But I love watercolor it’s magical. Thank you.
Hahaha it really is like training a cat. Mine do not listen and do what they want. And I couldn't agree more; pure magic. :)
I love tea with almond milk. Love your tutorials. Thank you for sharing.
You are so welcome! And that sounds delicious!
I love your mountains
Thank you Farukh!
Vous faites preuve d'une grande délicatesse ❤❤❤
🤍🌲 thank you
Gorgeous mountains!
Thank you, Brooke!
I enjoy all. But coffee in the morning for sure!
Agreed. I can never be without my morning cup of coffee. lol
And thank you!
Terrific technique!
I love both
Thank you :)
LOVE LOVE LOVE THANK YOU
Thank you kindly!! 🌲🌲🌲
Too funny about your kitties!! We have 3 and I instantly looked to see who was doing what here in my home before I realized it was coming from your video 😂
So Charlie, Tucker & Chance say hello - our Persian & 2 exotic shorthair boys
Haha thats hilarious. Love it. Love cats so much, but they can be so naughty. Hello to your furbabies!
Coffee and tea both!
I fell asleep watching this video. Not in a bad way! It was just so soothing and I was learning so much, so I had to rewatch some parts lol. You have such a beautiful way of showcasing your work area and your voice is so soothing. So, just a warning - if you're sleepy AND creative - this is your video ... just make sure to rewatch it when you're going for coffee rather than chamomile tea. lol. Thank you for this tutorial. I just moved to the Rocky Mountains and must, must, must paint what I see out my window :)
*where did you get that votive candle spinny thing? I MUST HAVE IT!! lol* ♥♥♥
🤣 haha so glad my videos can help you unwind and relax! And falling asleep to my videos isn’t necessarily bad; it’s quite nice to know that they are comforting enough to fall asleep too lol. Thank you!
Ooh I bet your views are so wonderful and inspiring! 🌲
Here’s a link to some rotating candle spinners (the one in the video is from Nordic Nest and comes from the Scandinavian region, so a bit harder to get): amzn.to/3sP0QY0
Love your real time tuition video's, your voice is so relaxing, and your tecnique, is fasinating.
I can not wait to paint Mountain's your way, thank you.
Thank you so much! I wish you many happy tree paintings! 🌲🌲
First of all I like coffee, I think coffee runs through my veins. Dark, black, no sugar.
And I am a beginner in watercolor and I just love your tutorials. I learn so much from you everytime. Thank you so much.
Haha it runs through my veins, too! And welcome to the watercolor world. It's fun and frustrating. I'm glad you're here. I hope these videos are doable. I plan on filming a few more in the near future that are even more simple for anyone who is just picking up a brush.
Beautiful!!
Thank you so much!
Wow lets go! Love it, nice mountain study
Yes! Thank you!
Thank you so much for helping me with my mountains! I love your looser style!
You are so welcome, and thank you for spending time with me on here.
love this tutorial
Thank you!
This is amazing! I'm going to refer to this while painting my next postcard!
That’s awesome! What a great idea! I wish you the best mountain painting experience.
Coffee, use be tea drinker as well. Thanks for your tutorials! I stuggle painting mountains, so I hope this helps me! Thanks! 😊
Ooh I hope it helps you Cindy! Sometimes I struggle with them too. Sometimes they turn out great and other times I want to toss it in the trash. Struggles of art haha.
Coffee all the way! ;)
Thank you so much for this! I love that you showed different kinds of mountains. Also, there's not a lot of tutorials that focus on mountains so this is a great find for me here in yt. Usually they include it as a part of a landscape. As a beginner, I try to start small. Learning to paint just trees, leaves, grass, clouds is less overwhelming than an entire landscape.
I really appreciate these!
Also love that you mentioned using brushes that holds less water. I'll try changing brushes when doing or practicing dry brush technique
You’re welcome
I also like to focus on one subject at a time. I’m glad I’m able to help you with yours 🌲
Thank you for the feedback!
Браво.
Very relaxing tutorial, puts you almost in a meditative state, loved it! Thanks
That's exactly what I'm going for. It's what I want to experience when I'm watching TH-cam and in a learning environment. I'm glad I'm giving that to others. :)
Hi Jackie, I drink both. I have been an artist for many years now and I'm just getting my feet wet in water color. I came across your video in the shorts and I just wanted to say I love your work. I subscribed and will continue to watch and learn. Thank you for putting yourself out there. I know it can't be easy. Stay blessed.
Thank you for sharing. What did you do before watercolor?
I’m glad you’re here and enjoying the videos. I appreciate it. 🤍🌲
Wow, Jacki! I’m so blessed to have found you. I’ve been commissioned to do four different paintings of a mountain in its different seasons. I was not happy with my techniques for getting snow. This was just what I needed. I’m so grateful. I drink coffee and tea by the way. Thanks again!!!
You are so welcome! And I wish you many successes on your commissions and paintings! 🌲
Hi Jackie!
I’m a coffee drinker in the morning and switch to tea at night. But… when I’m painting I drink tea - Irish Breakfast, cream and sugar.
I love Irish breakfast tea that sounds so good. I’ve recently been trying to increase my green tea and herbal tea intake but it’s hard because I always want coffee. 😊
oh~I should try the way you demonstrated. thank you for this tutorial
I hope you do! Thank you :)
Thank you so much Jackie for sharing your techniques with us. I have always struggled with mountains while trying to teach myself water colour. You have really opened my eyes to this wonderful medium. I am 68 years old and have been trying for a while now with no success. The way you talk us through the processes is so calming and relaxing without any stress that it has to be perfect, is wonderful. I love your way so much. Thank you once again. You now have a new subscriber 😊❤
Thank you, Maria for the kind comments! Teaching my views on art is a wonderful challenge, so hearing it speaks to you is the best. 🤍🤍
With painting more and more and learning new ways to approach a painting will definitely give you courage to tackle trickier parts.
Enjoying your video with morning coffee. We enjoy 18% cream with our coffee. We also drink tea during the day.
Love that! Yum. Cream in coffee is delicious.
Black, strong coffee for me too, lots of it... 🥰
Love strong coffee! 😋
Wonderful tutorial!
Thank you! 🌲🤍
Fantastic tutorial. I definitely want to start practicing mountains.
Much appreciated! And yes, start! There are many ways to paint them, and in my humble opinion, can never be painted incorrectly.
Lovely demo.. Thanks
Thank you, Ranjana! 🌲
This was easy great fun!!! Love the video!! I love my coffee with creme brulee lactose free creamer. I do like tea at night occasionally sometimes with a drip of milk but definitely with honey!!
Ooh yum crème brûlée 😋
I have to do lactose free, too.
Love this Jackie💚
Thank you :)
I grew up drinking hot black tea with milk and sugar, that is still my go to comfort drink. Then the espresso bars came to England send I learned to love coffee too!!
Haha I love it all. Nothing better than a warm cozy drink!🤍
This was great and shows me how to improve my mts. Thank you. I love all those techniques - now I just need to practice them more.
Haha totally get that. Happy painting my friend!
I use different brushes depending on what I'm painting and i also love the velvet touch
Ooh what’s your favorite brush?
Thank you! We are going to the Rocky Mountains, and I want to be able to paint some!!
Oooh I wish you the best time. Mountains are so much fun to paint! I hope you can find some takeaways from this video to apply to the Rockies!
Y.ou naturally paint toward the left because you are right-handed. Lefties to to paint toward the right.
Someone else has mentioned that, too. Must be a thing haha
Thank you for this fantastic video. I've just discovered your videos and love them. I've already tried one of your misty landscapes and realized I needed to practice individual components. So just about to have a go at the mountains and then one of your tree videos. 🥰
Thank you for wanting to stick around and finding some useful tips. I’m happy that you found me 🌲
I love painting in sections. That may be of help, too. Though sometimes the misty scenes are nice using wet on wet, but that’s a learning experience in its own right. I hope to continue to provide approachable art videos.
Why is your voice so soothing?
Tea in the morning and coffee later in the morning. But I love a glass of wine when painting.
Thank you for sharing! Do you have a preferred tea you drink? I always love peppermint tea.
Thanks mam , yours tips very useful
Thank you Lachhman! Happy to share what I’ve learned.
Nice mountains. I will try again. I need to relax 🙄
You can do it!
Great video :) Thank you really enjoyed it.
My pleasure! Thank you for watching and spending time with me on my channel.
Loved this style of mountains, there was so many beautiful techniques that you showed. So a big thanks 🙏🏼 for your art and for you sharing it…subscribed and I have many videos to watch on your channel and many paintings to paint!
Thank you for leaving me a kind comment. I appreciate that. Mountains are so much fun to paint, and I hope you get the paintings you’re after.
Thank you for the tutorial. i tried to do it lik😢e you, but it didnt come out well. So, back to practice. Im glad you have these detailed instructions on your technique, as i had to take the tree tutorials too. Now i have to control my water so that my trees dont look like blobs. There's alot to remember! Like all good artists, you make it look easy. Also-the paper towel trick was extremely helpful. I think might actually get a viable painting in a month or so. Yes, im slow. Ive been working on a moonscape for about 5 years! But I'll get it. Art is (for me) a learned skill. It doesn't come naturally, like music does. But im fairly pleased with the finished works that I do have. I did a colored pencil wolf that came out a lot better than i expected. Maybe i should stick with colored pencils? Or try watercolor pencils? Its an idea. I may try some, just to see what happens.
Anyway, I'm blabbering. I really like your paintings, and your technique. You are talented! Your voice is soothing and you're good at explaining things. I appreciate your patience. You are also very beautiful, both inside and out.
Ill let you know how it turns out.
Oh, and i like coffee with cream and sugar, but when i paint i mostly drink the brush water.🤢
Haha I drink the painter water too. It's awful. You'd think we learn, but... Thank you so much for your comments and taking the time to write to me. I'm glad you're enjoying the videos and finding the teachings helpful. Mountains and trees, and really, any landscape elements can take some time getting used to. I had to paint trees over and over again until I developed a style that I loved and felt right. I haven't any experience with pencil, but they look so so beautiful and realistic. What do you do for music? I used to play the flute ;)
@@JackiePeacock I'm an old lady who likes to paint, crochet, and play head banging heavy metal on my 🎸 guitar! I only recently got into art of any kind. I have a lot to learn, but I have to admit, I'm having fun. Plus, I don't wake anyone when I'm painting late. Not so with music.
Heavy metal guitar that’s amazing! But I do agree being able to paint in the early hours is a bit more quiet than playing an instrument haha
Благодарю!😊
Thank you!
I just found your channel and love your tutorials. Your voice is sooo relaxing. Thank you!💖💖💖💖💖💖✨✨😍😍🌹🌹
Thank you so much for watching and leaving me some kind feedback. I appreciate that!
Coffee all the way!
Yah! The best drink haha
I’m a new subscriber and I love tutorial! I just started drawing/painting ( I have never drawn anything!) I can’t wait to try this because I’m having a hard time with landscapes. I am a coffee and tea drinker, coffee in the morning and herbal tea at night. I am trying a new Mushroom coffee that is supposed to be very healthy for you and it’s not to bad😊
Welcome to the world of painting, Diane! It's a love/hate relationship I'm afraid. One day it's great, and the next it's hard. Haha. I hope you stick with it and can see how your art grows.
Ooh mushroom coffee. I've heard many people enjoy it. Maybe I'll have to try it, too.
Thank you for leaving me a comment.
🌲
Great tutorial for mountains, loved all the different styles 😍 They feel very doable for a watercolor newbie like myself 😂 I like a strong coffee with sugar and heavy cream ☺️
Thank you, Tiffany.
Absolutely doable! Ooh strong coffee is delicious. Do you have a favorite brand?
@@JackiePeacock yes, I really love Counter Culture coffee, their Apollo variety. It's a light roast Ethiopian coffee and super good if you like light roasts. My other go-to is Jose's vanilla nut, which I buy at Costco lol. The two coffees mixed is an amazing combo as well ☺️
@@tiffanyhoffman-almueti3697 I’ll have to check those out. I don’t think I’ve tried a vanilla one, so that sounds pretty good. Thank you for the recommendations!
@@JackiePeacock of course ☺️❤️
Found you now, love your video. Subscribed ❤
I'm glad you found me and that you're enjoying my videos. It's been wonderful to share and connect with so many across the globe who love watercolor landscapes. :)
Hello waouah I love the démonstration of that mountains ...can you show us how painting a glacier ...thanks so much from France ! I love café ...
Oooh a glacier? Hmm that's a good idea. Are you asking for those cooler bluer/turquoise tones?
I'll have to add this to my list of video ideas. Thank you for your request.
Thanks
Thank you
You’re welcome.
And thank you for watching. ☺️
Coffee and tea. ❤
Delicious!
Ur art is really masterpiece 💙💙ur channel just found it today thanks for that content 💕💕
Thank you so much 😀 And thank you for such a kind comment.
Nice, simple techniques for doing mountains...start with basics like this--I especially like the monotone look, I have Mayan blue--great color for mountains! Sodalite is another good one, and I'll try Sepia as well.
Coffee or tea? I drink both but consume more tea because I make my own, I buy loose tea by the lb., Assam is my favorite. I can't make decent coffee to save my life, so I stick to my tea.
I inherited the crankiest, nastiest, ill--tempered cat ever when my mom passed away in 2016. To make things even worse, I'm most decidedly NOT a cat person. And that's all I have to say about that.
Mayan blue is such a lovely blue! Ooh I haven’t tried Sodalite before. Haha I’m sorry you can’t make decent coffee. I buy a local brand and now I can’t drink anything else.
Cats definitely have their unique personalities. I’m sorry yours is a bit tough.
Colour-wise, l like indigo a lot as l don't have many unique colours.
@@Bearwithme560 Yep, indigo is another good color for mountains...it's weird, since I started with watercolors I've developed a liking for dark, moody shades of blue. And browns as well, sepia being my favorite at the moment.
Love the darker shades, too. 🤍
Both
Beautiful. Newly subscribed now thanks to this tutorial, which makes mountains less daunting. :)
Woohoo and welcome! Happy you’re here, and that I can help you with some of these trickier landscape objects. I find this is the easiest way and always turn out great.
@@JackiePeacock l also like that you created smaller pieces for us to follow, which is so great as my incentive for putting paint to paper is to make personalised cards for my friends (who have never complained upon receiving one), and you managed to make a big subject worthy of a smaller piece of paper - as someone who uses every scrap of her expensive Arches.
Edited to add, l'm neither a coffee nor tea drinker except on occasion, and never while painting after sipping a cup of dilute cadmium red.
@@Bearwithme560 I love smaller pieces, too. I'm trying to think of someone who's new to watercolor and new to landscapes; smaller feels a bit more approachable. And it's nice to have these separate videos showing different parts of landscapes. I'm trying to build up my videos, so when I do have these larger landscapes, people will be able to go back to these ones for reference. I love the personalized cards! I hope you have fun with these mountains and others will enjoy them.
Haha. I can relate to the painted drink. I think we've all dipped out brushes in our drinks. Sigh.
@@JackiePeacock LOL! My doctor friends were aghast when l told them l drank a heavy metal. I'm looking forward to seeing your channel grow.
@@Bearwithme560 lol they’re probably right. And thank you🤍I’m glad I decided to start one.
Coffee and Tea for me!
Yes, both! Love it.
I'm very new to watercolor painting, and I am enjoying your videos very much! I know you are using Grabie brushes, but I'm not experienced enough to know which ones, sizes, types, etc.
Thank you and welcome, Regina!
The Grabie brushes come in a set of 11 or 12 I believe so you’d be getting a range. They are smaller brushes, so nice for smaller subjects and paintings. When I first started out I went with Aqua Elite brushes in sizes 10,6,2, and ,2
I’m a coffee drinker ❤
The best!
Wow. Im so excited I found you. I will be binge watching all weekend from Australia. Is this the video that you referred to in the beginners mountain video, as the dry brush technique, or is that another video ???. Thanks so much. Love your style. I might even be brave and attempt a misty scene. I also love them, but cant do landscapes.. LOL.
Hi Lindy! I’m so excited your found me too!! I hope you continue to find value in my content. I have another video that it a bit easier than this one when it comes to mountains, but it has less texture. I’ll link it below.
Thank you for your kind words! And definitely do a misty scene!
th-cam.com/video/kSUeWCfzy8w/w-d-xo.html
the reason you favour the left is that you are right-handed, I tend to paint similarly, also I also tend to put the light to the right.
It's definitely one of those things that I need to remember. lol When you start looking at all of your paintings and the composition is similar, it's frustrating haha
I live for coffee, but I like hard core Chinese medicine tea that tastes like the cure for cancer and the strong tea an Irish fisherman would have at 4am.
Lately I’ve been into manuka honey and anise with black pepper
I’m not sure I’ve tried any Chinese medicine tea but that sounds great. Recently, I’ve been trying to increase my green tea intake, but it’s a bit hard because I always want coffee.
I am a coffee drinker, but also love chai...I am Indian so at home or in office we mostly drink chai.
Couldn’t agree more! I love them both, too. I love the fresh cardamom in chai.
Coffee, immediately
Agreed. 🤍
Jackie you are just outstanding .are you on skillshare
Oh my, thank you for such a kind comment.
I’ve thought about Skillshare, but haven’t made the time to do it yet.
Kopi tubruk jawa ...
Ooh I should try the pour-over style of coffee. Thank you for sharing!
Hi Jackie I really enjoyed your video!!! Lol I'm a tea drinker in the summer and a decaf coffee drinker sometimes in the winter! I love all of the mountains that you painted! You make it look so easy! I like your reassuring voice! We have one cat! I'm a new subscriber!!!! What paints are you using???
Thank you Marvin for your kind feedback! Thank you for sharing a little bit about yourself. Cats are wonderful :)
I hope these mountains can become easy for you, too. I always use Daniel Smith watercolors. I just love them, but any professional grades paints will work. I've only tried DanielSmith and W&N.
I'm excited to try some of these techniques! Great video. Can you please tell me where you got that tea light spinner? It's so pretty.
I hope you do! Thank you so much for watching and leaving me a comment. I appreciate you spending time with me on here.
The candle spinner is called a Rotary or Rotating Candle holder. There are many different kinds on Amazon.
Here's a link to the one like mine: amzn.to/40c7HXL
The one I have has branches, but I can't find it in the U.S. If you visit the Nordic Nest website you might be able to find it there (ships from Scandinavia).
So I've tried a couple of these, very encouraging and fun, and I want to play more with this but I have to wait a couple days to order more paper for practice/play--frustrating!
That’s amazing! So so so happy to hear that.
@@JackiePeacock Been using the back sides of paper that's been painted on already, almost out of that. I have lots of bristol board but it's just not like real 100% cotton watercolor paper. In addition to learning how to paint mountains I'm also discovering the wonderful capabilities of my Lebenzon goat/synth. brush! It's taking some getting used to but the more I use it the more I like it.
I have to figure out a better, more comfortable way of painting watercolors...all my lights are clamped on my airbrush easel....so the best place is sitting on the floor under said lights--rather uncomfortable at my age. Maybe I can get my woodworking friend to help me design some sort of watercolor painting easel/table top that I can just clamp onto my big easel.
Yeah the cotton paper is so dang expensive. Hard to get around it. If I’m painting certain brush strokes or testing out colors, I will also use both sides of my paper. Never want to waste lol. And I hope you find a better place to paint. I paint at my desk and the kitchen table.
Coffee black
