As always, I appreciate your tutorial. I think you may be one of my cat's favourites (and mine, too). Mao Mao enjoys watching with me and I think she likes your voice as well as the movements of your brush.
Haha omg I love that! Whenever I watch De Winton Paper Co, my cat always watches her. Its hilarious. 🌲🤍
I'm not good at landscapes but this one I want to try. I like painting flowers 💐. I could paint flowers all day. Thank you 😊.
I hope you certainly give this one a go! Do you have a specific flower you like to paint? I don't tend to paint flowers, but leaves are therapeutic. I've thought about learning how to paint wildflowers, but haven't done it yet.
Happy landscape painting! Let me know how it goes :)
For me, i love painting birds, endless styles that they can be done in, or Japanese Sumi-e inspired paintings, never get bored of doing thiem
I love that thank you for sharing. I quite love the loose style of watercolor birds, and I agree I would never get bored of them either.
Beautiful. Love you’re style of painting, teaching and also how you set your table up with the greenery, candles, lights etc. very calming and inviting.
I love that you love it, too. I'm all about the mood and vibe haha. It brings me great joy that you've found my content helpful and more importantly, calming and inviting. Thank you so much for the feedback.
The road made it look so awesome
love the misty look of this mountain scene!
Thank you! Went for simple on this one. 🌲
Lovely, thanks for talking us through the process. I like your use of colors in this.
Thank you, Sue :)
I plan on using more colors in future videos.
I love this Jackie! I can't wait to try it❤
Woohoo me too! 🥰
Beautiful. Always learn so much from you. Thanks for sharing
Thank you, Kacee. And you're welcome :)
Just amazing! Just love your style x
Thank you so much!!
Beautiful! Skies and pine trees for me, also!
I love that! So happy to appeal to fellow tree enthusiasts. 🤍 thank you for watching, Carla!
Love your style and my favorite trees are redwoods
Thank you for leaving me a kind comment. And I agree, Redwood trees are incredibly beautiful. 🌲
I love how you did the mountain and shore. Great trees too! ❤
Thank you, Marcia! The shore is so simple, right? Could even add some tans and browns if you wanted sand with a little more splattering to show that there's rocks between the water and grass.
@@JackiePeacock Thank you you! Illhave to try that. Thanks for the suggestions. ☺️
Absolutely!
Beautiful 💐 I enjoy ur art
Thank you so much, Shilu! :) I'm so happy to share it with you all.
I enjoy your videos very much
You are so kind, thank you 🌲🤍
Hallo du liebe, deine Bilder sind alle wundervoll.Es ist so entspannend dir zu zu sehen beim Malen.Ich hab dich heute entdeckt und gleich abonniert...lg aus Wien...:)...DANKE für dein SEIN...;)
Hello to you all the way in Vienna! I’m glad you found me and I’m so happy you’re here. 🌲🤍
Great tutorial, thanks. What kind of brush did you use at the end to splatter on more wildflowers?
I use the synthetic deer foot brushes by Princeton Select Artiste. :) Thank you!
Love this Spring introduction ❤. What size is your paper?
I don’t remember what the size of this paper was because I just cut a random size. It’s not a size that would fit into a frame very well.
Very nice
What is quash?
I think I mentioned using a thicker paint for the splatters and I may have been talking about gouache which is similar to watercolor, but more opaque.
Hi , I`m always watching your tutition vids and I think I am learning from your style a lot , But can I dare ask ,why do you use the aqualite 12 to do the wash with instead of say a "flat I" or 1.1/2 " wash brush" . Which in my limited understanding would be easier to do the wash with to cover more space in one go? I must add I`m not critcising you, its just an interested query .
Thank you so much Tommy for leaving me a comment. I don’t really have an answer to your question because I tend to grab the 12 because it’s one of my favorite bigger brushes and usually I will wet my paper and use that brush to put down soft paint to create a misty effect and I’ll use the point of the brush to create distant trees, so that’s probably why I’m in the habit of grabbing it but Using a flat square brush of any size is always a great idea because it will hold more water and you’re less likely to damage the bristles like I have done with this 12 round. But I actually like the fact that the brush is frayed because it gives me the texture I want when it comes to my trees. of course, using a flat brush or a wash. Brush is always a great idea and you’re less likely to damage your brush.
@@JackiePeacock A really understandable explanatory answer Jackie , and I so understand perfectly your answer. It's all down to what method suits who I suppose, as there is maybe no exact best way. Gosh the things I`m learning from all of you really proficient excellent people who are giving your time & effort to teach others is truly admirable, and thanks a million as without you tutors , we`d be floundering.
Do publish series on TH-cam
Is there a series you’d like to see? Thanks!
hi! from turkey. Ive just discovered ur account and beautiful videos and loved watching ur paintings.. If u would add some more details, I ll be happy to watch them :)
Thank you so much 😀 I do love simplicity in my paintings, but I'll certainly think about adding a few more details. In future videos, I'm thinking about adding in some other subjects, like a lighthouse, cabin, rocks etc. Let me know if there's something you'd like to see and maybe I can tackle it. :)
I notice you don’t tape your paper. How do you keep it from buckling? I don’t stretch my paper now as it’s harder to lift certain colors. I love to paint flowers and objects like fruit, and people too. Also, I looked on Amazon and looked for the brushes you listed. Why are the brushes called a number, then in us size it’s smaller? This is very confusing!
I want to know this as well..
Greetings! Hmm as far as the brushes I'm not sure. I have links in the descriptions that should take you to specific brushes. I love that you like to paint fruit! I've seen videos on that, and the level of detail is amazing.
And for answering your paper question; so I usually spray or mist the back of my paper using a misting bottle. This allows me to stick it to whatever board I'm using. For larger papers I do this with wood and for smaller papers I can do this with an acrylic board. I like the boards because it lets me move the painting around, rather than be stuck on the main table I'm using.
If I'm working with a true "wet-onto-wet" style of painting, then I make sure to wet the front and back of my paper using a sponge. I do this because it's faster. Any sponge should do; of course you can use a brush to do this, too.
I left a detailed answer above. :)
Понравилась ваша картина, но мне не хватает на ней отражения горы и елок в воде
I think I didn’t add those details because I wanted to keep it simple for anyone starting out with landscapes. I will be including reflections in future landscapes, though so stay tuned. 🌲
But I agree. I love reflections too.
Enchathing landshape
Thank you very much 🤍🌲🌲
