US president Joe Biden is reportedly planning to resume sales of deadly weapons to Saudi Arabia, a country he had promised to turn into a "pariah" on the campaign trail. Biden had paused the sales of items like fighter jets and precision munitions over Saudi Arabia's conduct in the Yemeni civil war. The president has been forced to reconsider his position amid Riyadh's reluctance to criticise Putin's invasion of Russia and the war in Gaza. If Biden reverses his ban, Riyadh stands to get cutting-edge US weaponry, including the F35 fighter jets - something the kingdom has requested in the past. Palki Sharma tells you more.

They can't Saudi schooling is mostly religious. The only Middle Eastern nation that is very good at engineering and manufacturing is the Turks. AtTurk the father of modern day Turkiye was one that pushed hard for industrialization and technology. But the rest of the middle east maybe under Saddam Hussain you saw some manufacturing.
