    Thank you! I’m 61 and started scrolling for a hobby. Your tutorial was excellent. 👍🏻

    *This is my second WEN tool and they are both great **MyBest.Tools** I needed to do some trim work around the house and needed a scroll saw for the intricate work. No complaints so far.*

    Thank you for the information about the vibration. I did not know the blade could cause that by becoming loose, I assumed it was the workpiece that was causing it. I will reset my blade before I tackle the next piece.

    Thanks for all the great tips! Saved me weeks of frustration. I was having that exact issue with the vibration and leaving the inside cuts until last.

    Thanks for the video. It's good to see a tutorial with real time scrolling. When I started, I always wanted to go too fast . I think because every other tutorial is sped up many times.

    May I know more about what kind of blade you using? Is it modified geometry blade? Can flat blade do the same cutting job as well? I am new to scroll saw and your video helps me a lot. Thank you.

    What wood do you use ? I’ve been trying to cut out small shapes and everything chips.

    My reaction when you pulled out the "baby";
    Holy Shit!
    I didn't know that level of detail was possible. Does this work on most types of wood? (Obviously not partical type) hard vs soft woods?
    Im impressed, def earned my sub.

      I get mine from a lumber mill or just Home Depot!!

    So the first layer is painters tape? Or some other sticky paper? Is this so you can spray adhesive on the pattern so it doesn't get on your board? Thank you.

    • @OakAndFeatherDecor
      @OakAndFeatherDecor  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yes! That's exactly why. I use painters tape or contact paper. Then you can use glue or spray glue to stick your pattern on top, and you aren't getting glue all over your board! Saves time sanding, and you don't want to be sanding aggressively when you have small detailed cuts.

    I see you don’t answer no one comments 😢, I hope your see my comment , I have the same as you but mine jumó a lot when I cut , I don’t know why I’m scared ti cut my finger

  • @yvonneschimmel453

    Your fingers are dangerously too close to the blades. Made me nervous

    • @OakAndFeatherDecor
      @OakAndFeatherDecor  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The nature of this tool requires your hands to get close. Thankfully the blades are very small and flexible so are unlikely to injure you much if you happen to slip! But understanding the saw really prevents that from ever happening!

      @@OakAndFeatherDecor I read that the scroll saw is the safest so far to use. I just started to learn the craft. I do it to help me deal with my brain tumor. It helps me try to focus and forget my demise.

    Really poor choice of font. A thicker stroked font should be used. Good way to cut your fingers off.
