- Today we are heading across Montana to more, Montana! Yes, this entire day is us driving across one state! It's so beautiful though! The dogs are doing great, and yes, they are traveling well. Kira is enjoying the pillow that Jamie set up for her in the back seat!

Ah Jess and Jamie! These vlogs are bringing back so many memories of my time in South Dakota and Wyoming when I was finishing my Geology degree. I remember specifically one day in July of 1997 when we were traveling to Wyoming when it heavily snowed. In July! Your mentioning of the open pit mine reminded me of the chance we got to actually go down into Homestake gold mine. I have a picture of myself 6350 feet below the Earth’s surface. Thank you for bringing back these memories. I hope you both and the girls are having an amazing time on your trip!

Those snow capped mountains were beautiful and so was that sunset. I am so sorry about you losing the dog food bowls. Glad you were able to snag some replacements for the trip. The girls do a lot of sleeping in the car then sleep some more on the beds. Travel used to make me sleepy too long ago.

Dinos make sense! There's lots of them that have been found in the Badlands too! Some of those hills are made from ash deposits from some big volcano near Montana and Idaho. Your dogs are excellent travelers! Those mountains are either the Absorkas or the Beartooth. Love you videos!

there is a type of snow called grapple, it looks like styrofoam, and sounds like pop-rocks.. and i have stayed in that hotel, when work made me go there from kalispell..

Google, doesn’t exactly keep up-to-date with its ground views, or aerial views on their maps. Like I checked my house on Google Maps in the picture says it was taken 11 years ago and actually I’ve been living here August will be 10 years. But honestly, I have my suspicions it’s older than that because there’s a amaryllis plant right next to the garage and in the picture it was way way smaller than when I moved in 10 years ago and just in those 10 years that Amaryllis has quadrupled in size.
