My Husky Rides on a GIANT Ferry Boat (But was Jess Scared?)

- Today the huskies get to ride a ferry! So today we leave the states and head into British Columbia, Canada! We are heading to Vancouver Island! We have to take a ferry to get there, and I wasn't to excited about that, but I did it! Oh and we pick up @RFSdan on the way as well!

Oh RFSDan, trust me when I say the Canada prices make me laugh as well 🥲 the CAD to USD exchange back in November when I visited Florida was the highest I've seen in awhile.
Mostly white blossoms, are usually apple. And on the way when you guys got to go through " Buffalo" country, yeah we in the states have tendency to use the word Buffalo, but since you wondered, they are Bison. Awesome aren't they?! ( I've seen them around Yellowstone Nat. Park

Queen Memphis on her throne. I do love how they turned the door into a table aka Throne fit for a Queen like Memphis. I know just how you feel Jess, I got sick my first time on a ferry. The first time I went to New York for a class trip. Which I cherish now more than ever before. I got to go to the top of The World Trade Center. I will never forget seeing just how tall those buildings were. Thanks for taking us with you on this trip. Please give Dan, Jamie, Memphis, Kira, and Eleanor a hug and kiss from me. I actually miss my daddy’s boat we fished a lot never on the ocean just on lakes, but I actually learn how to drive it before. I learn how to drive a car, it had a staring wheel.
You took the easier ferry, not sure if it's still around but when I went to Victoria there was a ferry that left from the dock here in Seattle that took several hours... it was stormy and i was VERY glad I had ginger tea to keep my stomach under control.
Tawassen Ferry! You should try the Washington state ferry to Victoria. You might like it better.

@shawnnewell4541 Interesting, I took a brief look, and it doesn't seem to be cheaper. I heard that route can be quite rough, though. I wonder if there is a better chance of seeing orcas along that route.
What a beautiful cabin that is. A big back yard too. I would love to live there. Loved the boat ride. Also love the quilt on the bed. I would have a fire in the wood burning stove to top it all off.
I would've loved to be on that boat. The last boat ride I took was to Boblo Island 😄. I like the air b&b you guys are staying in.
I haven't been on a BC ferry since 1992. I went with my parents and they had a big truck with a big 5th wheel. It was expensive back then 😁 What a great air b&b. Very BC feel. I'm loving these.
Dont forget to add the new friends with Oakleys baby. When i did drivers ed its required to drive on and off the ferry. Thats a small ferry to me. Id take Eleanor's burp than a fart in the face from kira 😂. What a gorgeous place.

Jess im with you on going 'under the water' people i know keep wanting me to go on the euro star through the channel tunnel to europe id rather go by ferry which was your transport on the water 👍. Nice table Memphis 😉 are harder things more comfy for you too

The park you found sounded like the horse breed friesian, also what’s funny is I love horses and thats my favorite breed. My brother loves boats, lol. And he does not like those tunnels, he thinks there scary. 😂
I don't have a problem with taking the ferry except for sea sickness. The North Sea is pretty rough an it's 9 hours of 30 foot waves. Sound of Shiant (Between Isl of Sky & Harris, Scotland) is pretty calm but I still get sea sick on that crossing.

I was told by an old fisherman to look at the horizon. When we take that ferry, we try to arrive early and we ask to go on the top deck. So far we have gotten lucky and we chill in the car.
We had a trailer, so we couldn't be on the top deck where we could sit in the car.

You Could NEVER LIVE In Either New York Or New Jersey Jessica, with all the bridges & tunnels that traverse between both states to get into and out of both of them. The Lincoln & Holland Tunnels both go under the water, plus all the bridges that go from NJ Into NY at various points, not to mention the ones that take you from one Boro of NY into another Boro of NY, and then there's The Staten Island Ferry that goes I believe half-hourly from Staten Island across the water into Manhattan Island. You would be a consistently neurotic wreak on an every day basis if you lived there & had to deal with driving through and around all of that every day!!

Jamie those are ships LOL and you road a ferry boat , you’ll all be ok , trust me subs are far worse then a boat
