Sir one question when we r short circuit the connection then only current will be flow inside the conductor but in any magnetic material how the current will be flow inside the material there is no short circuited between the material so i have these confusion can u explain me sir ( this vedio good sir for every electrical students
It might not be the best question to ask but I recently studied Ac motor(Induction motor) where I got to know continuous changing field induces Eddy current.what really confused me was as the magnetic field of stator kept changing it produced absolutely no effect on the magnetic field produced by the Eddy current as if it had induced permanent poles. The north and the South Pole of the induced Eddy current kept moving towards the magnetic field of the stator but could've simply reversed their field to counteract the change of field.why does that not happen? .I hope you can help me with it
Nice explanation 👌 sir.But already I know about this topic but I think you explain deeply on the topic but not like it.anyway you're teaching skills are 👌👌
Thanks for that explanation. It was great. I have a question though. I recently took apart an old transformer, to fix it. I fixed the problem but now I don’t know if I should apply any type insulation to the E-shaped core-sheets that I removed before putting them back together to reduce eddy current loss. Is it necessary?
Nice explaination sir. I Have a doubt that current flows from simple horizontal conductor in the presence of external magnetic field( shown in 1st part of video) is also called eddy current or not?
Sir I have been watching all the videos of you since 1st video..pl post a video that on what basis will choose 11CTPT set i.e for how much kva (CMD) It will be chosen and also pl differentiate between 2element and 3element CTPTs..

@@GauravJ Sir, thanQ fir immediate response ..generally we use 11kv CTPT Sets to measure power on 11kv side by installing 11kv CTPT Set , So on what basis rating (20/5A,10/5A of 11kv CTPT set) will be chosen..and also plz differentiate 2element and 3element CTPT Sets..
Do u mean brake??eddy current braking is also used in energy meters to limit the speed of rotation of aluminium disc.(only for energy meters which has permanent magnet)
Great ! Clarification needed on the summary, are the eddy current is because of rotating magnetic field or varying magnetic field, I assume it is the later! Can I get your phone number?
I was lot of searches about eddy current. I am always confused. Now it is very clear...
Sir: As usual a clear concise explanation. A new topic that has not been spoken about previously. Thank you.
Our hero full respect sir and thanks a lot we get from you a more advantage 🙏💯
Thank You. Glad to know that. 😇
@@GauravJ sir why the iron and ferrite core is used in transformer and motors??? And what is the difference in these 2 cores?
The explanation is excellent Sir....!!
Thanks a lot sir I got a clarity on eddy current after watching this video 😘
We are lucky as Electrical engineer Because your there sir to know indetail about the electrical subjects
Thanks a lot sir, now i am quite addicted to watch all your videos.😃
Best explanation so far
After going through 5 videos finally m clear tqsm,💫
Glad to know that ☺️ do share and subscribe to my channel 🙏✌🏻
I m very confused about eddy current lot of time 😒 but this video 🙏🙏🙏🙏❣️🙏 thank you😎

Does the lamination increase or decrease the resistance???....I've always thought it would decrease it because of the i squared R relationship.....
Wow gaurav👏👍
Thank you! Glad it was helpful 😇

Sir will change in magnetic flux only induces ac voltage in the conductor ? Why not dc voltage? Explain sir
Do you have core loss per KVA of transformer?
Please make a video on how does induction cook top work ?
Sir plz do a video on types of harmonics 🤗 that would be helpful for who are having a confusion on it

That would be a good choice 👍🏻
Sir all your videos are veey useful..sir i have a doubt on d.c...if d.c can produce magnetic field then why we cant use it in transformers
DC cannot produce rotating magnetic field. That’s why we can’t.
Nice explaination sir. I Have a doubt that current flows from simple horizontal conductor in the presence of external magnetic field( shown in 1st part of video) is also called eddy current or not?
Yes it is Eddy current!

so eddy currents are just circular currents created by turning on the circuit?

What is the ratio of hysteresis loss with core loss?
Sir make video regarding mechanical angle and electrical angle its very confusing

keep it up
Then can't we find eddy Current break itself in AC motors and Core of transformers

@@bharathvarun My question is if it can oppose it's cause then why we need to insulate motors and core of transformers
Sir u forgot to mention that eddy current is proportional to square of frequency
Sir why don't you try your hands on Semiconductors. Trust me u,ll rock it sir...!!! :-)
I’ll try it 👍🏻
