I still find amazing how big the drop between the first movie & the second was. The first film passable. But then the success train rolled in & they started churning out the sequels.
And now with Bumblebee out we can see just how fantastic these movies could have been if Michael Bay hadn't gotten his disgusting fingers on the franchise.
You have no idea how right you are about the robots,. As a hobby I draw, and on weekends I buy cg videos and how to videos on storyboarding. I saw a review of one CG artist who was designing the robots for transformers, remember they are hired to do a job, and just want to get a paycheck, and man, the way Michael bay designs the robots is exactly the way you describe it. The guy would make quick ink shadow sketches of basic robot forms. Then they would go into Photoshop and have various parts of vehicles, and then they would take a part here, place a part there and low and behold you have a robot. If you compare the old designs with the new designs you can see a clear difference. Its like you said about John carpenters The thing. It was a physical effect. When the transformers were originally built no CG existed. It was a toy company who had people in a backroom literally drawing sketches with product designeers building a toy line that was totally viable as a prestine quality toy to be distributed. Because it took more time back then, I believe people were force to actually care more about the product, even a cheezy idea about robots which turn into vehicles.
I loved it. I could do without the sex jokes from the parents. I could do without Sam's parents entirely. But I enjoyed these movies up to the Last Knight. I have no memory of that movie and no idea what was going on then or what was going on looking back. But his rage is always fun.
I was a pretty big transformers kid growing up in the 80s. The first movie was….ok. Passable, I enjoyed seeing it and thought they did fine with it. The second movie was so terrible it makes the first look like Shakespeare. I never bothered to watch any of the sequels and everything I heard since leads to believe they are just as bad. This whole series desperately needs a reboot.
It was rebooted, starting with Bumblebee. Then came Rise Of The Beasts. Both movies are in a completely new and different continuity than the five directed by Michael Bay. It needed to happen!
Miles is crazy, transformers is easily worse than every movie they listed besides battlefield earth, that's a tough one.The only movie I've seen that's worse than transformers is Disaster Movie. You have not known pain until you've suffered through disaster movie.
My top 10 worst movies 10. Revenge of the fallen, 9. Cyborg, 8. Battlefield earth, 7. Captain America 1990, 6. Manoes the hands for fate, 5. Pearl Harbor, 4. Equilibrium, 3. Mortal combat annilation, 2. Fat slags, 1. Wicker man
You know what was worst, avengers 2 and how all these idiots around me were laughing at Ultrons jokes, with Transformers, which I never watched I expect a piece of shit, but with avengers 2 I expect a lot more, I did everything not to spoil that movie for myself, I avoided reviews, comments, and all conversations and comments from other people to enjoy that film. Every year I reserve 1 movie moment for myself and I thought it was avengers 2, Last time it was Iron man 3, oh man, was I wrong.I think people are to easily pleased in todays society. The last time I felt so outnumbered was about 2 years ago when I watched Independence day which was also a large piece of shit. When an audience applauses a piece of shit don't you dare make comments about how you hated the movie. The movie is over and I have every right to have an opinion about a movie, besides I am talking with my friends at the time, I do not know how you can be an honest critic without being lynched. Every review you have made I agree with. Even your review of man of steel. I though the movie was to jarring and it was hard for me to watch. It had moments but it just was not a superman movie.
You know you do have a point and that film is really terrible but I can personally never hate it because I had too good a time with my ex-girlfriend on our date when we saw it! It's similar to the prequels, where I know that they are really bad movies and I love to bash them...but if I wanted to , I could still enjoy them nostalgically because I grew up with them as a little kid!
I miss Spoony. But this will always be my favorite v-log of his lol
hes a thieving piece of shit why do you miss him? his whole oline persona wass fake n everyone hates him now for good reason hes a parasite
2:15 "I'm not a drinking man." How things have changed.
I think this started it :) Add more shitty movies and internet trolls and it goes on
Nah it was the Scarlet Bitch that caused his alcoholism.
@@Tareltonlives Hardly, and he actually didn't have "trolls" so much he'd spend most of his time arguing on Twitter.
Miles is just as entertaining as spoons
I love it when Miles realizes he forgot about the astronomy professor...
Regardless of how I feel about Noah, this is still one of the best reviews ever.
I still find amazing how big the drop between the first movie & the second was. The first film passable. But then the success train rolled in & they started churning out the sequels.
Thanks for saving this. It's one of my favorite reviews
Tareltonlives This. A lot of nostalgia here.
Noah's "THIS IS THE WORST FUCKING MOVIE" still cracks me up to this day.
4:23 I believe the phrase that you're looking for is "hodge podge"
At least Revenge of the Fallen was shorter then To Boldly Flee
Is it shorter than Dark of The Moon?
And now with Bumblebee out we can see just how fantastic these movies could have been if Michael Bay hadn't gotten his disgusting fingers on the franchise.
I counted 15 comic relief characters including muddflapp and skids , also the but fucking dogs and John turturros jello ass.
Twilight is 2h 2m. And when I had the misfortune to watch it I felt each and every fucking second on it.
So...It too late to say I'm sorry for having been a stupid middle schooler with a bad taste in movies at the time?
Same here.
Same here! Back then I enjoyed X-Men Origins: Wolverine too.
I'm pretty sure that you're okay due to the age you were at. I was the same.
That's okay-I used to like Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
Tareltonlives Don't feel bad, brother. I used to like Uwe Boll's House of the Dead when I was in middle school.

thanks for sharing notrub
Transformers Revenge of the Fallen is my number 1 worst movie I've ever seen.
It is physically hard to sit through.
That’s funny spoony that u made a cameo in Matthew bucks review of revenge of the fallen.
I think comic relief is too generous, annoying unfunny as f**k side character is more like it
did anyone catch what song played on the alarm clock?
Personal Jesus. I think its the depeche mode version.

@@DreFromMaine8472 saw the latest one, rise of the beasts, was terrible too. Though Bumblebee was pretty good, I give that one a thumbs up.
are they referring to Transformers 1 or 2 ? WTH guys. I'm hella confused.

“I blame you” but he also paid money to see this shit movie...
Because Pearl Harbor sucked and I missed u LOL!

I'd rather watch transformers 2 over Alexander. and transformers 2 is virtually unwatchable

I had that exact same experience watching the Force Awakens
This is longer then the shining too, god I hate that movie, who gives a fuck that it was a masterpiece, even king deliverdley hates it .
Still love the Transformers movies.
"reeee racially insensitive!!!"
Yeah lmao
Haha Spoony is such a little dweeb
