I have felt society shift over the past week in a way that has caused me to stop feeling so burdened about the world. I’m so grateful for women like the ones in your community, Oprah and yourself. My soul hears the call and then just as I'm excited to answer the call, there it is again, that nagging voice of self-doubt, trying to convince me to shrink once again and to go back to playing small; that it's safer - that voice can be so loud at times. Your words - "We learn that if we stand out, we get kicked out" resonated with me on such a deep level.
