Living in New Mexico I was alwasy jealous of everyone who got play with their Snowcat in the snow and then one year we got dumped on with a bunch of snow. It actually stayed on the ground for two whole friggin days. So me and my brother rushed outside with our Snowcats, Cobra Wolves, Polar Battle Bears, Snow Job, Frostbite, Iceberg, Stalker in his Arctic gear, Blizzard, the 3 or 4 Snow Serpents we had, and the Ice Vipers...threw in a couple of B.A.T.S. just for good measure...it was an epic battle
Just picked one of these up today. Had to watch a video or two to make sure it was not missing anything. And it is 100% complete. Thanks for the video.
I got this in the mail recently, it is a really awesome G.I. Joe arctic vehicle that is a must have for serious collectors. Thank you for making this awesome video Michael Mercy.
Even though I am a Southern California boy. The Snow Cat was one of my favorite GI Joe vehicles to play with. I always tried to get all of the snow-Joes.
I cannot believe that after all of the years of having a SNOW CAT that the back came off and could be used for "storage." I always used to put all of the guns and gear under the missile turret when my Joes needed to move from battle to battle. ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOUR VIDEOS! I hope this winter you can add the ARCTIC BLAST with WINDCHILL, AVALANCHE with COLD FRONT and have BLIZZARD and SUBZERO tag along. Keep up the great work!!✌
Michael...Your videos take me back to my childhood unlike any other TH-camr out there. I love...LOVE your GI JOE videos. I cannot tell you how many hours/days I played with my JOES. When there was a day when it snowed...and school was cancelled...I was that kid playing with my JOES/SNOW CAT in the snow. PLEASE never stop posting videos. Incredible work sir...INCREDIBLE WORK.
Hello Michael, I purchased a complete 1985 Snow Cat on yesterday off of eBay and I bought the instructions/blueprints from a separate seller on eBay on that same day. I never owned the Snow Cat as a child. Next thing I am working on is getting that FSS Frostbite, like the one in your video. Yo Joe!!!
WOW Michael! This was suuuuper cool! Love how you put the Snow Cat in it's right invironments! So many good memories popped up watching this! It looks so freaking good out there in the snow! You and GIJOBURG both do a great job filming the toys outside! And I have to thank you for putting up so many excellent GI JOE videos lately. Best regards and god bless from the Norwegian Joe! ;)
Spectacular visuals Mike! Narration is dead on and interesting too. And your recollection of the 'toon is pretty darn impressive man. Sorry about the breakages. I only ever played with the Snowcat in the much milder winters of Northern California; this shoot must have been pretty arduous!
I didn't have a snowcat growing up, unfortunately it was discontinued before I was old enough to ask for one. Picked one up as an adult and I absolutely love it.
There's always Ebay. :D They reissued it as the "GI Joe Wolf Hound" so you could even find a cheaper one that can stand up to the cold more effectively.
Got this one for my birthday as a kid. It was the biggest Gi Joe vehicle i ever got! I loved it, but my father was a jerk.....when the Snowcat was new, the whole window was covered in snow, and you could whipe it off with the whiper. Just that one time, and he did that for me, to show it worked....grrr....that was suppose to be for me!!!!! And i live in a country where it hardly ever snowed, so it wasn't like i could run outside and put snow on it to whipe it off again!
This was great and what a setting!! My brother had this vehicle and that of course, meant I could get my hands on it from time to time. Just found you today and I am binge watching your video's to get up to date. The Flag is fantastic by the way. Love and support from the U.K. Your new subscriber (me) lives 300 yards from Sir Isaac Newtons house so if you ever visit and you fancy an apple from the famous tree, I can jump the fence and grab you one!!!
Great review! I definitely prefer the vintage though. I love this new series btw! Can we expect water based reviews as well? That was always my favorite environment, made even cooler by the coolest toy boat ever made, the Moray!
Thanks! I'm having fun with it too. I've got an '89 GI Joe Arctic Stalker with kayak review coming up but I'll wait until spring/summer for future boat videos. I don't have a Moray but I do have the convention Joe repaint Tiger Ray which will be a lot of fun to take out to the river. :D
I got one of these second-hand in trade, can't remember what it cost me, probably a few Star Wars figures. It paired well with my brother's Arctic Blast vehicle.
This is my first gi Joe vehicle and my first and only figure. Although I don't have any wepons or missiles it will always be my favorite. My only other vehicle is the cobra stellar stiletto, can you please review that?
the skiing rocket is interesting because the logic that would justify it for how it's built and why would mean that rocket has a BIG BOOM because to propel it requires fuel, so if it's going to have a ski that means it to allow less resistance through friction. then by that logic i think that means to require less fuel they put the ski on it and replaced the fuel required to propel the rocket without the ski with explosives without making the bomb bigger; making one big bomb!

This was my favorite toy as a kid and I had a lot of toys.
So this is the vehicle that "inspired" Energon Snow cat.

Enjoy your Snow Cat Willie! Yo Joe! :D
@@MichaelMercy Thank you Michael, I intend to do just that, lol.
That big rifle scope is modelled on a military night vision scope.

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. Yup, us Snow Joes were pretty lucky to be able to able to use these arctic toys in their natural habitat! :D
When I was a kid we had a Husky. Same color as Blondie. I loved him!!! He loved the snow!
They sure make winter a lot more fun!
This was always my favorite vehicle and figure. I even loved the tiger force one.
The way you display your for your videos are perfect.
I lived in central IL, I had this and when it snowed, I LOVED it.
Wow the new frostbite looks amazing in the snow cat I always wanted to see that what a great surprise
I think so too. Takes a bit of work to get him in there but luckily he fits.
Totally rad!!!
Any snow trooper Star Wars or Gi Joes are my favorite.
I miss mine, gotta pick up one again.
They don't go for too much on Ebay.
In Wisconsin we also have fun in the snow ❄ that's why I love the windshield wipper

It's all good as long as you dress warmly. The breakages don't bother me a bit to be honest. My Snow Cat wears them as a badge of honor. :D
I didn't have a snowcat growing up, unfortunately it was discontinued before I was old enough to ask for one. Picked one up as an adult and I absolutely love it.
Didn't get one growing up but would have been sweet with the 3+ months of winter we have. Thanks for the cool review.

Great review. I never had the Snow Cat growing up. Looks like a really fun vehicle.
It's never too late! :D It doesn't go for much on Ebay, or you could go with one of the recent repaints.
Footpegs!!!! My fav g.i.'s Nagahide believe that's how it's spelled. Ant Tunnel rat.
I had this toy and living in New England it did see outside play in snow. I might still have it.....
I really hated stickers but mostly because as a kid i could never get them on straight
Haha, I had the same issue.
I love the passion you put into your reviews! Since moving to L.A. I'm missing the snow!
Wow! what an awesome review, thoroughly enjoyed this one; great work, mate.
