The fact Hyundai didn't change the positioning of rear indicators to a higher position beside the Tail lights for example is a big disappointment from a safety point of view. Two more observation why haven't they included the LED bar on booth door on all models. Remember Hyundai are in stiff competition with Toyota and Peugeot and others And finally why didnt they install LED headlight on all models so we can see better on dark unlight roads at night. Most other cross overs have LED headlights.
I see people asking about the indicators a lot on line but strangely enough, we don’t get that comment at dealership level, …. The rear LED bar is only on the top two models, i’m guessing it’s a cost thing but I really can’t be sure.. the good news is the new models all have LED front lighting, and then the top two models have intelligent LED lighting🙂

Lovely SUV exterior wise, seems to be brilliantly reliable and an excellent bhp, wouod have a great trade in value I'd say, but this is not a premium looking interior car, fact in comparison v Renault Austral or even the new Peugeot E3008 hybrid. This car is far too plasticky for my likening anyway with its shitty, looking, boring sterling wheel like a boring digestive biscuit. I will not be changing my car until March 2026, I'm open to hyundai, but not so far on this. The Nline looks real nice, again way too dark interior, remember, it's you thst will be spending most of your time inside a car, not outside, so the interior must be a priority. @@doolanbrian Brilliant link… I want a Santa Fe Calligraphy now 🤦🏻♂️. One last thing...the black meshed cloth at one end of the curved display is rarely mentioned in reports as to its purpose. One that does suggests it's a separate speaker for the navigation system for clarity purposes when others are being used for audio?
Already amazed you responded so kindly (and fully) to my earlier comments so thank you for that... makes me want to visit Fitzpatrick's at Kildare despite living in Cornwall 😂
Keep up the good work!
Kind regards
Derek
@@bikerdels hi derek, thanks for the reply! And a very kind one at that ! I understand what you mean, actually, that is a magnet believe it or not. It looks very like a speaker, but all of the audio functions in the car run through the normal speakers. People sometimes get a little magnets and put post it’s in that place or sometimes mobile phone holders. The paddles on Santa Fe are the same as Tucson, so did that video make sense about the paddles on Santa Fe?
@doolanbrian Yes - makes perfect sense! The magnetic plate “feature” is a bit bizarre mind! I now have one on order (PHEV 4WD Ultimate in ultimate metallic red with the light interior). Thanks again for your review and comments.
@@dereksowden4280 hope you enjoy the new car. You might find this video useful. th-cam.com/video/4wreOFlccwo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=hYCPF8JNQqv9A5Lw
How do great video and keeping fit what colour s are we getting on them 😊
Same colours .. we have new green and blue colors too !
😊
Great video Brian, love the new Tucson interior and dashboard.
Thank you for watching as always, Greg!
For me, the old dash is the worst thing about our NX4 from a safety perspective. I like the addition of a HUD as well. Now have to convince my wife it’s the time to chop ours in.
@@davel9359 I haven’t seen a heads up display on the Irish versions yet, but we only have one vehicle so far🙂
@@doolanbrian ah, I’m in England. Could be trim dependent, but have the ultimate currently and it looks to be a feature on the facelift here. Mind you, we can’t get a diesel.
@@davel9359 Yes , the UK stopped diesel in 2021 ?? You get a petrol non hybrid as one option, we dont get that !
Will the N-Version be out on sale for the launch date?
NLine ready for immediate delivery in Ireland😃
Is there 4-way lumbar support in the new Tucson?
Not in Ireland, we don’t have the electric seats option
Prefer my 22 Tucson dash which made me buy Hyundai rather than Kia Sportage. Only thing they should have changed was push button gear change and heater controls.
I have a 2022. Love it's wing lighted grill. DO NOT like this new grill and lights. Also DO NOT like the dash or center arm rest. It hasn't been 5 years and they've changed it ALREADY??? New model ABS sounds bad. The big dual camera screen is a distraction. The steering wheel looks to be "cheapened". Rear turn signals seem lower. SMH. When something looks good; changing so soon makes people wonder why.
Lol absolutely hating .. just coz u bought old version . Ordered the new one ... I'm gna have alot of haters around ahahaha you know it's the best interior better than German revials
Lovely new facelift. Do you have an automatic diesel or just manual?
Engine specs seem identical , manual diesel, automatic petrol hybrid, automatic plug-in petrol hybrid, thanks for watching Johnny
Overall dct is available with diesel in HP with 48V in europe And petrol is available with MT as well, but depends on each nation PT strategy…
@@Creativess90 you are correct. The last time we had the automatic version in diesel was 2022, and as you say it was Dct with 48 V mild hybrid technology
Thanks. I have the 2022 diesel automatic and would have a look at one of these if they were available.
@@johnnymaguire4297 if you want to stay auto in ireland , hybrid is the only option 👍🙂
I just got a 24 black on black Hybrid Limited knowing all about the 25 inside and out. Thank you for this video. I’m even happier I got the 24. Putting the turn signal even lower in the back makes so sense to me. I love my buttons to change the gear. I don’t like them in the 25. Too small. The only things I like with the 25 the front lights being more broad for night driving and being able to customize more things on the information screen.
Glad your enjoying your 24 and thanks for watching 🙂👍
Can you do a comparison on diesel manual versions please
@@catrionalennon804 this video should help !th-cam.com/video/_xyKJs5kfiY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=bIH59TEfEhAePIQT sorry for slow reply
But the mk2 golf gti barnie, seriously wow 😂
Not as nice as the castle garden … oh la la
Can you do a comparison on the diesel versions please?
Hi there, we expect diesel versions in 3 to 4 weeks, so I’ll be able to do more range wide video then👍
Shut up and take my money!🤣
Call up during the week .. I’ll send ya pricing this week ! Sorry I was short staffed yesterday so I hadn’t got on to you about it 🫡
Brian, What's the price of new executive plus hybrid?
In Ireland it comes in €52,250 on the road
I have the new 2025 Tucson. When I go into settings for the heated seats, I seems I can get them to automatically come on using climate controls...For thr life of me I cannot work out how to do it.
@@The2304Steve okay let me put a video together for this!
@@The2304Steve can you have a look at this video?th-cam.com/users/shortsACY7fo7yPOI?si=_IAdzs3-YgS5b1_D. It might be helpful, you might have a different specification to what we get in Ireland.??
@@doolanbrian Hi Brian. Thanks for the video. Yes works a treat now. I have the Ultimte spec here in England. It appears to be the same system as the Santa Fe you have there. Once again, thank you for all your videos on these cars.
@ I’m glad this works for you! Unfortunately, we don’t get your specification over here!
Bar the rear indicator I think Hyundai has knocked it out of the park
Great to hear a the positive opinions, thanks for watching!
241 to new tucson hybrid in 251 how much ???
@@blaizemonaghan9875 wouldn’t be pricing that type of stuff until October of this year for January 2025🫡
The steering wheel is on the wrong side. 😱
Whaaaaaaaaat 😱😉
I am writing this from India. I was planning to get rid of my 2024 Tucson.. but decided against it after watching your video. Thank you! It made me realise what am I going to loose.
Hyundai needs to focus on Tucson support in India. Tucson service and support is not great in India due to lack of knowledgeable staff
Understood, thank you very much for watching! Sorry to hear your experiences are not always good
It may seem like there are no ventilated seats?
Thank you for watching! We don’t have that option in Ireland for cooled seats , but it appears to be available in other parts of Europe and Asia🙂
@@doolanbrian Yup yup.
Dunno if other places in Europe have it.
Korea and Australia has both heated and ventilated seat feature.
Philippine-spec facelift doesn't though.
@@blackcyborg009 we usually get screwed in Ireland!
@@doolanbrian Ah I see.
But I guess heated seats would be more useful in Ireland over cooled / ventilated seats (?)
Anyways, here in the Philippines, the facelifted Tucson comes in three variants:
- 2.0 liter petrol / gasoline (natural aspirated) with 6 speed automatic
- 2.0 liter diesel with 8 speed automatic
- 1.6 liter petrol / gasoline (turbo) Hybrid with 6 speed automatic
Front Wheel Drive only for Philippine market
@@blackcyborg009 I stand to be corrected, but I think your 2 L petrol and 2 L diesel is probably higher on emissions compared to our 1.6 diesel and 1.6 hybrid, but if I were to guess I would imagine your larger engines are probably more robust as they are not as constrained by emissions regulations compared to the European variants 🥴🙂

Same small door bins that won’t fit a large water bottle 😢 WHY??
Nice car but it's the back they should do away with looks terrible against most other models.
Piano black on the door trims.....now which genius came up with this idea. This is like eating a soup and hoping that the spoon will stay dry. These piano trims get scratched by just looking at them, imagine their condition after 6 months of daily use. Terrible idea and i hope thats optional
Sorry to hear you don’t like it .. it’s standard with no option to change
BS. I own a Tucson, 2 years and 45kkm now. Not a scratch on the piano black parts anywhere.
I have some serious problems with this video. The spokesman is talking exceptionally fast, like this was running in fast forward. Difficult to understand, especially with the road noise, even with closed caption on. If that weren't enough, I could not tell which model year car you were talking about at any given time. Since I'm looking at both of these cars right now at dealerships trying to decide which one I would like, this is really frustrating. Sorry but this didn't help me one bit!
@@dalesmaglik sorry it didn’t help what country are you in ?
Why the faded Hyuandai logo at the back... the previous one looking better
On newer model it’s it’s as part of the window but it is underneath the window so the tinted glass makes it look darker
n line version 2022 was 10 times better
Lovely SUV exterior wise, seems to be brilliantly reliable and an excellent bhp, wouod have a great trade in value I'd say, but this is not a premium looking interior car, fact in comparison v Renault Austral or even the new Peugeot E3008 hybrid. This car is far too plasticky for my likening anyway with its shitty, looking, boring sterling wheel like a boring digestive biscuit.
I think the tucson has a lot right in many respects, but no heads up display at all, no option of a sunroof rear indicators are a safety hazard in the back.
I will not be changing my car until March 2026, I'm open to hyundai, but not so far on this. The Nline looks real nice, again way too dark interior, remember, it's you thst will be spending most of your time inside a car, not outside, so the interior must be a priority. Hyundai Tucson badly need a stylist.
Kinda the same.
It’s a moderate facelift 🙂👍
Massive difference on the interior!
