I just came here once again to see this because Ford is considering cutting paramedic services and I will oppose privatization and cuts with all that I have. Kudos to Toronto paramedics and all our Ontario paramedics!

This was last weeks news. Have there been no new devastations to hit Toronto since?

Strange ! You would expect them to talk about is the condition and identity of the victims being helped. Instead they focused on some process issues and the importance of mental health services. It seemed as if they were talking about a drill. Was it a drill ??

Toronto paramedic employees are not responsible for releasing information pertaining to the condition and identity of the patients. That is private health information that can only be released by the patient. They spoke appropriately and addressed matters that are relevant and important to the situation.

these emergency responders make enough money as it is, they dont need any fame. give the fame to the security guards who get paid little to nothing to protect all of your stubborn butts. or at least the crossing guards who protect your children and get paid like they were in a 3rd world country

AJ GAGNON .... They're actually underpaid imo; it's a stressful and important job

No Dom. Public servants are overpaid and under-worked, the opposite of private sector who are underpaid and over-worked. Believe me, I a know what I am saying. -RH

How rude of you. These men went in to help and save people... just because you feel like they get “payed enough” so they shouldn’t get any fame means you are a disgrace to humanity. This is breakfast television how much fame are they really going to get. 3 men who witnessed a horrible thing and RAN to help instead of running away to save people like us came on here to explain what they did as a team and a community to save as many people as they could. Unbelievable. As someone who is going into the field of paramedicine is sickens me the ways we are treated or viewed. I’m sure there were other paramedics in this situation who couldn’t come on a TV show to talk about it because they are still processing the whole thing. Get your facts straight and stop coming after the good guys. Disgrace.

EMS have a very short career, the majority break mentally before retirement. Why do u think they are all young.

@@thesisko4031 True only 4% of the Paramedics are 55 years in this province. I just retired at age 60. I do fell lucky although my body feels 80+
