Agreed, because I think this has something to do in tge way we as human beings grow up because when we were kids we mostly go to school or traveling or shopping in the morning Unlike night time which I feel it to be more suitable for overall thinking mindset
How does the saying go - The best morning routines start the night before? This is something I’ve already been doing, but I really appreciate that you give the reasoning behind these steps. While there is plenty of content showcasing people’s evening/morning/whatever routine, yours stands out by explaining why you’ve chosen these routine steps rather than just taking us along for the ride of what you do - so kudos! My evening routine is actually pretty similar to yours! I get off work at 5pm and take my dogs for a walk, then I come home and either make dinner or eat a prepared dinner while reading. At 6:45, an automated reminder on my phone goes off to review my day and make my plan for the next, and I only have fifteen minutes to do that because at 7pm another reminder goes off for the dogs’ dinner! Once the dogs are fed, I let them outside and I get to tidying up the house and putting things away. By about 7:30, I put the dogs to bed, make a cup of warm tea, set out my gym clothes for the morning, and curl up in bed with an easy read to lull me to sleep by 8pm - and then I’m up at 3am!
From the moment you post a poll on this topic, I started to think seriously about the evening routine and I can say it helped a lot 😅 you just wrote that title but it clicked on my mind to be more serious about it, haha. Thanks Austin for the amazing video! It’s always useful. You made all the steps to get REALLY ready to sleep as soon as you put your head on the pillow. And the most important thing is “No screens”!
You have such a healthy evening routine! Another terrific, thought-inspiring video. Kids mean I have a bunch of set routine points during the evening that I can use as building blocks, just need to work on the follow-through when I’m tired, haha. Appreciated the parent rep you included in this video; I feel we’re often forgotten outside of the mommy-advice sphere, but I like your research-based videos a lot better than most of what I see in the parenting niche. :)

@cosmicwanderer111 because I doubt it’s new to him, I think he is just repeating a well known topic for sake of content. I watched the video, he brought nothing new.
@@AmsNl2BcnEsThere's nothing wrong with repeating content because there is nothing new under the sun anyway, as wise Solomon said. If he bores you, just move on to other more interesting channels. Or create some groundbreaking content yourself and we shall be glad to watch it too and judge your creativity.
Your videos are literally amazing✨😭😭I just so confused that why people haven't found you such a talented TH-camr. Please don't give up making these masterpieces, I believe that your great ideas will influenced people all over the world. ( Actually you already did it, it's the greeting from Taiwan🫶🫶)
Thank you for this video. I saw it at 1am on Thursday. It made immediate changes to my week. Thank you.
Glad to hear it!

Err. Evening routine videos have been a TH-cam mainstay for 3+ years. Why is he making out like he has done something new?
excelente question
@@AustinSchrock what’s the answer?
I had not thought about an evening routine. New idea or not, I’m glad you made the video. Gave me something to consider
