@@cheths thanks mate! Feel free to share the reviews around. The Zoomfly v Magic Speed is a great idea and I'll add that one to the list. Thanks for the suggestion.
As an ASICS guy myself, i'm always inclined towards their foam and the comfort it provides. Glad you like ZF6. I've been trying to include some variety in my rotation and hence was curious about ZF6 to replace my Magic Speed
@@cheths I’ve had some paranoia about getting too comfortable in one brand (ie ASICS) - so I’ve considered it mandatory to strengthen my legs by trying out other foams and designs. Nike (despite being bashed by runfluencers) was always kind to my legs (except invincible 3) along with maybe Adidas and ON (just to experiment)
As someone owning all 4 versions of the Speed I'm not overly fussed over the changes Saucony made to the line. I'll be getting the 5th version when it becomes available next year. Mind you, I do think the Zoomfly 6 represents excellent value for what you are getting relative to some of its peers. Nice comparison.
@@vicentepastorfrances9543 I don't speak Spanish but I googled the translation 😂😂 I think it says you love the Endorphin Speed 3 and use it for all types of runs...? Thanks for the comment!
@ yes is too expensive buy a slow shoe, a tempo shoe and a race shoe. Before i use the Nike pegasus for training and vaporfaly for races, now i use the endorphin speed for slow and tempo trainging, and vaporfly for intervals training and races. Sorry for my english
@@davidcummings7735 thanks! Good question, both are totally different...like chalk and cheese but great at tempo effort. The Peg really nimble and natural feeling, lower to the ground and the Zoomfly is the bigger stack, softer, more bounce and rockered. What type of shoe do you prefer? Natural feeling or big stack, stiff and rockered?
@run-are I have the Peg Plus in my rotation just under my VaporFly 2 for race days I thought the Zoomfly 6 might slot in better as a Tempo trainer for the VF2's, being another plated high stack shoe what are your thoughts?.
@davidcummings7735 The Zoomfly 6 would be a great addition to most rotations out there due to its versatility. I'd prefer it over the Peg Plus for workouts just because it's got more protection from the road and I pull up better the next day. I bottom out the Peg Plus for some reason but I do still enjoy it. If you want another shoe I'd go for it, even if you don't like it as much as the Peg Plus for your workouts you can still use it for daily miles and long runs.
@@run-are thanks for your prompt responses and advice, more than likely will purchase a pair of the ZF6's and slot them into my rotation, looking forward to comparing to my other trainers. Cheers David.
@@run-are what would your recommendation be if I'm after a shoe which is close to Speed 1 or 2. I switched to Superblast 1 after running in Speed 3 and realized how flat Speed 3 was. Have done 600km with my Superblast 1 and looking for new shoe. Superblast 2 will be my choice but can't find it anywhere
ZF6 arriving today. I sold my Speed 4, first time I've sold a pair of Speeds. Just find them really boring and flat. Shame as I've loved the series, especially Speed 2 which i still hold as best all round shoe made
I recently bought Speed 4. Still sitting in the box. Am thinking of sending it back since there is not much difference between Speed 3 and 4 which I find Speed 3 rather flat and no bounce after comparing to Superblast 1. I miss Speed 1 & 2
@ that's good to know. At least I know I'm making the right choice. Pity I can't find/buy Superblast 2 anywhere. I have a feeling ZF6 will not be as good as Speed 1 or 2.
This is one of the higher stacked of the recent Nike releases. How is the cushioning from the ball of the foot forward to the toe? Nike seems to aggressively taper their shoes' stacks to get very thin at the toe, so much so in the Peg and the Vomero that I find them to be uncomfortable. Seems like the zf6 might be better cushioned in the toe but i haven't tried it on yet.
@@MLHunt Definitely more cushioned in the toe than the Vomero and Peg. Both those have traditional geometry and do taper off so there is hardly any padding there. The big stack rockered shoes will have plenty of cush in that area with the ZF6 being one of them.
@run-are thanks for the reply. A lot of people have been saying it's a good shoe, the best trainer Nike has shipped in years, so I've been interested. I'll have to go try it on.
i felt the same way when i was deciding between the speed 4 and boston 12 and i sent the speed 4 back. the boston 12 was that much of a better shoe. i think the speed is hyped up online way too much now.
Good news. ZF6 sounds like a multipurpose tool, replacing the whole nike family: Pegasus Peg plus Invincible Vomero Now. I still use the original Speed¹ - a hard one to replace. V4 is not welcome, will v5 be??? In the mean time, ZF wiil do. ...and there is the Takumi Sen, best 4 the FAST fun.
Great detailed ride comparison review.
