    I have the 22 version it shoots at 11.35 ft/lb and I can hit pellet on pellet at 40 yards. This gun is has crazy accuracy for the price and is great for rats Woodys and rabbits

    As a HW100 owner with pressure gauge on the front end of the cylinder I can only say that the gauge is clearly visible without pointing the muzzle of the weapon at your forehead. Cant help thinking that anyone who does shouldnt be allowed near a gun!!!

    I have one of these. Absolute brilliant bit of kit. The fact the lever is on the left actually makes it BETTER for right handlers as you don’t have to pull your finger off the trigger nor move your eye from the scope makes for great rapid shooting. The gun is incredibly accurate it’s an absolute gem to use.

      Just bought one of these and one of my bug bears with magazine air rifles is the right hand cocking. I am ambidextrous but prefer right hand shooting, keeping eye on target and finger in proximity to the trigger to preferable to me. I also recently got a Webley Eclipse pistol which is essentially the same to this but without the rear bottle. Looking forward to getting this exercised and shooting. I like something different and this is a nice compact gun

    Great review. I bought one of these as a spare gun ! Used for pest control out to about 30 metres. Use a Swift Stumpy Silencer. I never thought I would use the power adjuster . But now , in lockdown and limited to 16 yards of garden plinking , I found found full power was smashing pellets to dust and making clearing up a pain. Having reduced the power to second lowest. Now still does the job but pellets stay in mostly one piece and make picking them up easier ! Must remember to turn it back up when we are released from isolation . 👍

    • @ColinMill1
      @ColinMill1 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I'm interested in getting one for the ability to drop the power for work in and around farm buildings. Range Right however say in their current manual (and have backed it up in an email) that the power adjuster does not work on the sub 12 ft. lb. versions (which seems totally at odds with what both you and Andy have found). I was just wondering if the instruction manual that came with your gun says anything about the power adjuster being ineffective as it does in the current manual. I'm just wondering if its a function that they have, for some reason disabled on recent guns. Thanks.

    • @tonydobberson4439
      @tonydobberson4439 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ColinMill1 I no longer have the NP02.
      I think the power adjuster works better with FAC power levels.
      I can't remember the power figures I had but turning the power down did have some effect. I did find the Power on my NP02 went up to over 13ft/lb and I think this can be an issue with a few Turkish made guns. Great gun for the money , just a little loud even with a silencer.

    I got myself an NP-02 about a month ago and love it. Mine is a .177, and it was pellet on pellet at 30yds out of the box. The trigger is adjustable and mine is a bit heavier than I would normally have it, but I quite like it as it is.I'm using bkl mounts and a Cobra F1 scope, so your problem could of been your scope/mounts. I love the left hand lever, and I'm right handed.The recessed safety catch is great when out in the sticks as there's almost no chance at all of it being knocked into the fire position.

    I own one of these. Have the HW silencer on too. Its a left side loader as id heard it wasn't intended to be a rifle, just a big pistol. As i'm left handed its works for me. Can testify the shot count is massive.The downside for me is it feels a bit short, and the stock butt isn't very comfy. Also the grip length is too short for a bipod. I wanted the AA s510 but thought id save a few quid on this. Its not a bad gun, just wished i'd saved a bit for the AA. I'll probably trade up eventually.

    I've had one of these for a couple of weeks now and the left sided lever is great. On a bipod you almost get semi-auto rates of fire with the right hand never leaving the pistol grip and the left just cranking that lever :-) Not good for a cheap gun, but a good gun at a reasonable price - with pellet on pellet accuracy at 30m.

    Help. I am buying a np02 (Guernsey) and putting the vector 3-12 X 44 on but what size mounts? Contacted vector air and they couldn’t advise.
    Low, medium or high?
    Thanks

    I have a kral puncher, really nice but of kit. The only thing I HATE about it is the mags, the spring pressure from the mag on my .22 is more than enough to deform the skirt of the pellet. So if your any more than 30 mins between shots you can garentee that the first shot out the gun is going off with the fairies. Which when using mine for rabbits on my permission is a pain in the back side. For some reason mine didn't come with a single shot tray!!

    I know I got on you a bit about The Whole cruelty to animals thing. It just makes hunters sound like bad guys or something. Anyway we all are entitled to an opinion and just know I always give you a thumbs up 👍 because I do believe you are a decent human being. I’m from New York and there aren’t that many nice people here nice maybe but rude as hell. Will be leaving Long Island soon by New York.. well done carry on.

    you could probably stick a little dentistry mirror in front of the gauge so you can see your air pressure from an angle maybe?

  • @dhebert111
    @dhebert111 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    Please people, don't check the pressure by pointing it at your head. Get a tiny mirror mounted just 1/2'' ahead of the dial pointed back towards you (you could even put it on a hinge, to avoid glare) Personally, I've got one attached to my glove so I never have to do that. Hope this comment saves a person's eye at least.

    i own one and its a nice rifle with one major downside. eventually you will have to replace seals. mine began to leak around the bottle 3 weeks later after using heat, cold filter wrench etc it still refuses to move a mm same with the copper pipe connection at the bottle end. its brass and Loctite in so hard that even after using a blow torch on it its not moving at all and the brass nut is just braking apart when trying to undo it. I'm used to Loctite in my helis and worked as mechanic so I'm used to things being tight but this is a joke. mine currently is a expensive ornament. overall its a nice rifle but would i advise anyone to buy one not after the experience ive had trying to fix a very simple problem
