Just a minor correction at 22:15, the map incorrectly shows the border between Germany and the Soviet Union, as it uses the post war Polish - Soviet border as the 1939-1941 demarcation line, which it was not (This is especially weird due to the fact that the correct border was shown in a previous slide 21:50). It also shows the region known as Zakarpattia, also known as Transcarpathia, as being part of the Soviet Union, which is incorrect for the time as by 1941 Transcarpathia was annexed into Hungary along with southern Slovakia. In addition this map shows North Macedonia as part of Bulgaria? For some reason. Good video tho!

Hey big fan of your videos, but I believe you have a bit of a fallacy at the end there in how you portray the view the US had of the royal navy. The US viewed the UK as a rival until the second world war, and would have prioritized an Atlantic fleet in case of a UK threat. One of the US's primary goals with the Washington Naval treaty was to find a diplomatic way to keep the Royal Navy in check.
It wasn't until during the war that the US relationships with the UK and Commonwealth nations became like it is today.
Why do these videos have to be so dramatic yet so good?

At that point neither the US nor rhe USSR were allied with britain. The US was playing both sides economically while sitting on the frnce politically and the USSR was openly on the german side.

I think it was the fact that there was a period during the Invasion of Poland where German Forces on the Western front were substantially weaker then French Forces in the region, and they could have launched a large invasion of Germany to counteract Germany's invasion of Poland, but instead chose to build in and resort to World War 1 Defensive Tactics rather then pushing the advantage, and allowing the German's to occupy Poland, then move into position to invade France and the Benelux
Did you completely ignore the fact that during the invasion of Poland, the French army literally only marched a few kilometers into Germ ay and retreated back…
*If the French had actually fully committed to an invasion of the Rhine Germany would’ve had pulled some of their army back from Poland. The majority of the German army was in Poland!*
