The guy who composed the entire soundtrack also was part of the composing team for Final Fantasy X with Junya Nakano and Nobuo Uematsu That guy is Masashi Hamauzu
My dream is that one day, this game will receive a remake that would make the whole game look like this cutscene. With a updated action combat system. And a more explorable semi-open world. This game was so beautiful and memorable that I believe it deserves another chance to truly sit among the top, as one of the best Final Fantasy games of the series. Dear lord let it happen.
This was my very first final fantasy game. I know FF13 is a divisive entry for many fans, and I understand why, but I absolutely fell in love with this soundtrack after this opening cutscene and hearing the menu theme for the first time. Beautiful

Probably the most underrated final fantasy, it suffered from veing released on an era where the open world was kinda like a wow and what everyone was pointing for. So linear seamed lazy, top 3 final fantasy imo.
Yeah I'm hoping that they will release a proper remaster with (a man can dream) more NPCs and explorable location of cocoon. This ff has so much potential.

@@yuseifudo2609 do a couple things that they could do with the Final Fantasy 13 remastered version First is always the fallacy orphan was acting under the orders of the God of Light the crash cocoon in the Grandpa's that cause enough death to open up the gates of Valhalla the cause of chaos to slip through into the normal timeline the god of light has been awake for a very long time he was never sleep I have another theory he took a human The youngboy Hope Epstein is really the God of Light is a vessel just like or yeul is the vessel for goddess of death Etro did you notice that the God of Light fights just like hope did with his boomerang because the one in the same individual and just like hope had developed a crush on Lightning so did the God of Light ironically enough and did you know any visual Final Fantasy XIII the actor who voiced snow was going to walk away from his contract because he wasn't getting paid enough money so in 13 to they're going to create a new love interest for Serah Farron but unfortunately this would have caused a lot of problems for the fans but typically those idiots we call fan shippers a backlash to put in a new love interest for Sava cuz he's idiots are so invested in snow and serah that the relationship their makes actually no sense I have a personal theory behind that I'll keep that to myself that the character of Noel was going to be the new love interest and then they start toying with the idea the Serah and Dodge really did die during the events of Final Fantasy XIII and that whatever you're looking at is not really her but a projection of someone who took on the form of Serah after her death both she and Dodge are not really human but replicants something that took on the form but they said the change it because the backlash from the fans would have really explaining that would have really put Square Enix in the Bine you saw the backlash for Final Fantasy 15 now imagine if they decide to go with that story line the Serah really did die and was not in love with snow can you imagine the backlash that Square Enix would have received just like I said you saw what happened with the Final Fantasy 15 and had nothing to do with poor game quality it had to do with no one got their happy ending if you ever get a chance look up why do we need happy endings in a movie in games there come across a very enlightening article I can read and you'll learn why I believe that's a real reason Final Fantasy 15 got a negative review I wish you the best and thank you have a great holiday whatever holiday you may celebrate

I bought this game years ago after first hearing about in a video about FF and this game was said to be bad. Maybe it was because the images I was seeing seemed too good to be that bad of a game or something, but I wanted to give it a chance as my first ever FF. To this day, it's still the only one I played (for now) and after much hassle in being able to play my 360 again, I got to return to it. I'm still nowhere near down but, beside some flawed mechanics and occasional grind, I'm glad I can return to it now that I've grown as a gamer and a person. Sure, the game isn't the most fun I've played but the fact that I kept going "I'll find a save and then stop. There, saved... buuuuut I wanna see what happens right after that.", that's gotta mean something, right? ( ;

Part of me still thinks the reason XIII didn't get the great immediate reception that other FF games had gotten before was because it was really the first time the franchise featured a female lead.

This was the first game I ever saw in HD, over my own HDMI and I remember just being absolutely blown away by it.
Me too! I had the same thing happened when I played it on an old fashion glass tv and was blown when I stopped the game to install the flat screen.
