Amazing. It has been a while since I've heard and felt truth. After reading Mathew 9:14-17, I did not fully understand the message. So I decided to search it on TH-cam and now God has opened my ears and heart to this part of his word. Great sermon! God bless you.

New covenant terms:- Bread represents body of christ which was given for you and the cup represents blood which was shed for you. Do this in remembrance of me. Thank you Jesus christ for our salvation. Thank you pastor for shedding more light on the new covenant.
Thank you for requiring people to attend the class before being baptized. I just remembered one night at revival my mom told me to go and sit on the front row...a 10-year-old child and scared of the pastor!

Mathew 7:21 "Not everyone who calls me Lord, Lord will enter the kingdom of God, but only those who do what my Father in heaven wants them to do". what else would take us to Heaven according to the scripture apart from following the leading of the holy spirit of God. Many thanks to your reply.
When I first started fasting I thought I was trying to do penance then I stumbled upon a preacher that pointed out penance is probably offensive to Jesus. Jesus paid for our sins 10 fold, why would I pay penance.
Loved your statement about water baptism. I think all churches should instruct those who are interested into knowing the WHY. I wish someone would have prepared me better before my water baptism! There's a church in West Monroe, LA with known tv celebrities, where people flock from all over, just to be baptized by the tv personalities or someone from their congregation, hoping to spot the celebrities! I'm sorry, but if you're only interested in meeting a reality show 'duck man' and then boasting about it on social media afterwards, then you're not really doing it for the right reason. Anyone can be dunked, but you can't drown the devil!
Sound solid as always. Actually there is a strong move now spread especially by "Messianic Jews" i.e Jews who believe in Christ bringing the observing of feat days to the church.

Was Jesus saying that they did not need to fast because they have him but when he is crucified they will fast to get closer to him?
