I actually watched this video on April 27,2022. It was packed full of so much blessings! I have been praying to God to show me what was His will for me. On this day I got a call that drove so much fear in me and after trying to get through my usual morning prayer , I decided to see what motivational videos were available to encourage me. I kept moving past this one and I felt a strong urge to watch it. Hallelujah, thanks be to God! The lesson helped me to see that God wants me to stop doubting and trust Him with my whole heart . The story of Elisha topped it off so beautifully! God is good and worthy of our praise. Faith over fear.
I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. Today (June 13), this was the basis for our Sunday School Lesson of the Day. It was entitled "Delivered from Fear" or "Why Are You Afraid?" The beloved hymn, "Eternal Father, Strong to Save," written by William Whiting (1825-1878), is a good hymn to compliment this Scripture, regardless of denomination.
A follow-up comment. There is another hymn that goes with this passage. It is "Beautiful Savior/Fairest, Lord Jesus." This hymn also goes well with Psalm 105:1.
