- Lomography recently released Lomochrome Purple, a film that manipulates colors. According to Lomo, blue becomes green, green becomes purple, yellow becomes pink. Red tones stay red. Come with me as I shoot my first roll of Lomochrome Purple.

I've taken a bunch of rolls to Eliz. I like it cuz it's super cheap and often they can get it done in an hour, but my last couple told have been poorly scanned. I'm curious about the place you mentioned. Did you say it was called Sammy's?
Yeah they took a day for mine- this is my first experience with them. Not too in love with the scans either. Sammy's isn't far away from Eliz. It's on 27 Essex St, New York, NY 10002. They legit do an hour or two to develop. I normally go with a friend, drop the film, hit the dive bar, and go back to grab the negatives. Sammy's does offer scanning, but typically I just scan my film myself. The people at Sammy's a really nice too.

I love my k-1000 - tbh I never took lomography seriously, but seems lately they been doing some interesting stuff

I've shot 2 rolls of this, but the previous version, not the new for 2019 one. I shot a mixture of portrait and buildings in the landscape, but making sure there was plenty of foliage in the shots cos that's where this film really comes to life.
I liked some of your shots, but a lot were way under exposed, plus I don't think street photography is this film's forte. You really ought to get out in the countryside to get the best from this film.
Appreciate the feedback, I agree, I need to mess with it more to get a better feel for the film. And good looks about the foliage tip. I'll definitely experiment with that with the other rolls I have. Do you have any of your shots on Instagram or whatever? I'd love to see some.

@@Emeny So sorry I missed this comment! But yeah, this was all film, using Lomochrome's newish film, Lomochrome Purple. The lab I had develop the film also did the scans for me.

Give the Lomography color negative 800 a try! It's nothing funky or weird, but it's my absolute favorite color film.
