All this crap with the destruction of the culture needs to stop. In the first skate video what does he do in the intro? He gets high and bombs the steepest hill around! This girls far too young to be taking drugs.

If you ever watched x games.. where she would compete against other 12 year olds in the next x junior games, you would know that she would be amongst others that are equally talented. This is all marketing bull that their parents try to sell. She is also not a professional skateboarder. But it sounds good, doesn't it?
So inspiring to see young girls ripping. Wish she would have worn a helmet though, considering how young she is. Safety is #1!
It's she was a boy, I doubt you'd have half as many people saying that.
Maybe, although California law does require minors wear helmets while skateboarding in public areas (however, it's not always enforced).
Matt Sezer I definitely agree with you, but in the case of helmets, the solution is not to tell girls to wear helmets less but to increase how much we are telling boys to wear helmets. They're life saving devices, especially for kids, and should be heavily pushed for minors.
Unfortunately, other than for vert skaters, helmets aren't used in skateboarding at least beyond beginners. I can't think of any pro street skaters who wear them, and at this point, I think you'd have a hard time becoming a pro street skater if you wore one.

Just watched her skate Tustin skatepark today with her brother and Dad .. The amount of talent she has is just insane , I haven't seen grown men skate the pool the way she does.

Samuel Heart she’s going to the olympics and you should watch some interviews bc she clearly shows her passion for the sport. Even if her parents introduced her to the sport she loves it and many sports are introduced by our parents. Btw she is a skateboarding prodigy and tony hawk has complimented her.

Sky had been skating for 6 years, at the moment this video was shot. And she has done some pretty gnarly skate tricks without any protection. She wow'ed me with a small video she posted on instagram.
Like some others already pointed out, she (and her little brother) know how to fall. And if they do fall, they immediately get up and try again. Just as the segment where she tries to do a tripple kickflip.
She really is one bad ass girl. Many grown ups could learn a thing or two from her! /js
