disciple is the goat when it comes to valuing and interacting with their fans and we do not take that lightly. you guys also have some of the most talented musicians in the edm game. i think people are forgetting even how influential modestep themselves were in the formation of the modern style of bass edm with tracks like sunlight and another day to just name a couple. my point being the fact that im sitting here getting advice from josh for free is honestly surreal. much love to the whole disciple gang.
This is literally the only vocal processing tutorial you'll ever need... Wow.. best tricks in the books here. Also Modestep you have really great voice, daym boi
Uhhhmmmmm.... No. Because he didn't show De-Essing which is the most important part of vocal processing. The S's always ruin the mix if you have reverb or delay on it. And also he didn't show the cutting off the harsher frequencies if someone is just getting into EDM vocals, like the 3.5k Hz range.
How lucky are we to be able to witness such good (and FREE !) tutorials , when most of these guys had to figure out all of this by themselves, so helping us with hundreds and hundreds of guessing hours. Thank you modestep !!
That's Google and TH-cam analytics work in at their best for you lol that's probably why it popped up in today's digital age there's really no coincidences
@@GamingGeek7 Of course it's not a coincidence, it's TH-cam analytics They have access to track here Google searches and Web habits it's not hard to deduce that this is something you'll be wanting to see if you're going on to TH-cam
I've seen like 50 vocal tutorials the past few weeks. This one does in ~20min what they all did in hours in the simplest way possible. WOW. Great work!
Heck yeah, I waited so long for a vocal tutorial from Modestep! I remember Panda Eyes playing „Wait anymore“ (or something like that) in his stream where you helped him out with the vocal chain and it sounded so great!
"Reflection filah" and "pop filah" haha this had me grinning. I love how your vocal processing sounds. Thanks for sharing, I'm actually implementing some of your steps. I've got another tipp which can make vocals really clean: Parallel compressing the high frequencies of the vocals. There are quite some tutorials on TH-cam about that. For everyone who want's to check out on another technique :)
Just, Wow! Josh has such a professional workflow. So many great tricks and tips for working with vocals, just with ableton features. Very nice video , keep it up
Arsdo ещё он недавно сменил категорию канала с "Компьютерные игры" на "Музыка".Теперь его канал направлен на музыкальный контент))))и видимо да ты прав

Absolutely nice video , enjoyed learning !!

123string4 yeah that’s some parallel processing but it’s not that crazy he could’ve cranked the output

love when tutorials show the recording process as well, not just the mixing and FX
Ikr super helpful to see their total approach

"Licking Miles, a waste of timeee". 10/10 vocal! Poor Miles.
