Great tutorial mate! I always have issues side chaining my sub and kick, what lfotool setting are you using to keep it clean or is ableton compression side chaining most of it? Do you low cut your kick at like 80hz to have room for sub?
there is a whole lot of shit that he didn't reveal in the Sidechain group, for example the LFO rack (?) (it was clearly much more than that), and the inital rack with side gain and tube turned up, when he said he didn't even use it. Also, Pro MB, he didnt even go into this plugin he just said it's "kinda like OTT" which is wrong lmfao
I recommend u to sidechain all except the kick & snare/clap, also you should always sidechain your sub to avoid the shock of waves between the kick sub and the track sub bass :)
Definetely side chain your sub. If you don't the sub's low frequencies will clash with the kick leading to frequency clashing and overall not niceness. Sidechain to the kick and snare also gives more impact.
