Bob Evans Pork Sausage- Too bad this commercial got cut off. It was getting to the good part of the sausage browning up and looking delicious when finished cooking.
Merry Christmas Eve, everyone. I have to work today, but at least I work from home, so it’s not too bad. Still, as this marathon comes to an end soon, I want to wish 80sCommercialVault and all the regulars here a wonderful holiday and year ahead. Next year for me will be about looking for representation for my screenwriting. My scripts have placed in four contests this year, and I am making connections within the film industry, so I have hope that my dream of writing will be a reality. May all your hopes next year be fulfilled.
I do miss channels like MTV that produced actual programming each day. USA network was another one of my favorites, i remember on Christmas theyd have a block of seasonal programming and of course can't forget Commander USA 🇺🇲 Cartoon Network and Adult Swim are probably the last of the somewhat old type of television like that and actually there are stations on OTA TV like MeTv and Rewind which do programming blocks still as well. A good documentary for anyone missing old type of programming television is "Z Channel: a magnificent obsession " Its a great look back at what once was.
I once was obsessed with Christmas 1982. I was born in 1987, lol. But I declare this to be the best Christmas or the peak of Beauty in the commercials and the right retro glow
Besides the cool Gravitar arcade cabinet early on the MTV set we also got some early local cable ads as well as the latest music video from the house master Maxwell with MASTER BLEND!
This "punk" woman host from 1982 is more articulate, well-spoken, and has the most pleasing voice. . .compared to literally anyone I can think of from modern times on any show or podcast in 2024. People are so annoying and loud now lol
MTV In Stereo Promo-anyone know who the artist was before Phil Collins..? MTV VJ Segment-loved how the studio had those arcade machines in the background MTV Station ID-good lineup Various Tape Edits/Channel skipping-Headpins..where are they now Maxwell House Master Blend Coffee-with Jean Bruce-Scott Metron-heard The Sharks's concert was good Alfredo's Achilles Heels-Alfredo might not want to be disturbed while he's working..
Ah, the Metron. I was too young to go there when it was still open, but I heard so so many stories. It's now a mixed use facility with a Family Dollar store, a beer distributor, and a car dealership. And Nina Blackwood was so hot. I remember debating with my friends whether Nina or Martha Quinn was hotter. (I was a Martha fanboy. Still am.)
I've been enjoying this year's Christmas marathon, & I hope everyone here will have a Happy Christmas tomorrow wherever you are.
You too!
Wow….It’s been that much 80s videos??? Keep the good work up.

Thanks for that documentary recommendation, I'll check it out ASAP. Merry Christmas, man 🖖🎄
1. MTV Station ID- I found it funny how the voiceover for Santa Claus in this Station ID sounds muffled, as if it was recorded in a closet.

MTV was radical back then
It sure was.🤘😊

The Metron in Harrisburg closed down on Labor Day 1988.

I'm dying to see the rest of whatever that was with Lindsey Buckingham at 10:55 😢
