The rubber band thing has never really worked for me when I’ve tried it. I usually just use a flat and wedge it into the stripped head at and angle that it can grip. If it’s too rounded already just use a bigger flat and cut little notches in. Use a long screw driver with lots of torque and give it a mighty fast twist. Works for me every time.

Maybe that’s why I never succeeded with the rubber band trick. not sure if y'all are seeing it, but there are edits right before it unscrews. they replace the stripped screw with a good one. you can see the clips cut each time.
I love how they're all like: Use this piece of leather for this, or this piece of duct tape, or use this washer, and *the tool designed for this task to accomplish that task.*
That last bit is a real saver on time and efficiency. I've seen it help loads with deconstruction or vital repairs to things like gazebos. I used to help a few friends out with stuff like this.

So usually when a screw head rounds off or breaks, it's because it's all rusted in there for years and your now trying to get it out, in which case a rubber band or tape isn't gonna help you at all.
That 3rd screw wasn't broken just in case you didn't realize. Didn't need a washer. I know it's not common knowledge but that's something called a flat head screw.

I am guessing this wood had no friction on those super fine threaded screws... Any decent wood screw isn't going to let you do that. The rubber band will split and the tape will tear as anyone who has tried this desperate measure will know.

Try using a manual impact driver, jut hammer down the screw bit to the screw head and whack it. Using power tools for a stripped head is just stupid
