I’ve gotten some useful tips from this. I would suggest using scale mesh instead of scale, at least for very detailed meshes. I’ve had issues but the meshes were massive, so maybe no biggie.
Hi, thanks a lot for the video! Would it be possible to improve the speed and quality of the surface by using the linked processing of the steps? Like processing the rest? Then it could be three passes. The second could be done with a larger ball bit to have the smooth suface and a thinner bit for the third pass for the smaller details? But the linked processing would go only on the left material, so be fast enough…
Yeah that’s definitely possible, just have to keep your zero true though each tool change. You could use resting machine and it would automatically identify the unmachined areas for each tool
what are your computer specs? this runs so smooth! i just spent like 2k on my computer and it still lags a bit. i use the free version not sure if that makes a difference also
