That's not a definite sign of a fake anyway. Rarran runs the real cards through a custom card creator as well so that you can't tell real from fake just based on minor formatting errors, so it would be possible to have a typo on a real card from that process.

I think his train of thought was that it be stealth, with an assassinate effect. So like *Stealth* *Battlecry* Destroy an enemy minion. Instead of, *Poisonous* *Battlecry* deal 1 damage to an enemy minion. Still not great, but not necessarily worse than it is now.
@@CreamyPesto505 It's absolutely worse. Assasinate and stealth is a 1 kill for the card, poisonous and deal 1 damage is kill 1 target and then anything that hits over it also dies. At it absolute worse it's a 1 for 1, but with the likelyhood of a 2 for 1 or even more, depending on the deck.

It was on Quest Druid as a "side-deck" option for E.T.C. to close games in case they stabilized, you could just burst the opponent for 10 damage. Incredible play winrate but it was only useful due to quest druid becoming good overnight and the free legendary of the new year being available 1 year before.

Great video ! I love when Stevie is on the channel. I do gotta say tho as someone who has also been playing hs since the old days in highschool. I really don't get the I miss the old days mind set. To me hs was SO boring back then. took a good handful of expansions to actually get interesting enough for me to want to play every day. Like he mentioned chillwind yeeti, so unbelievably boring to play. Old hs is like: okay turn 2 so I'll play my 2 cost, okay turn 3 so I play my 3 cost, and so on. And meanwhile each card is just a stats stick or basic spell. Not to mention f2p players had a better chance of finding water in hell than getting a pack. And even if you did good luck getting the exact legendary you need for the top decks in the meta. So that means you should have tried to one trick a class. But if your favorite class isn't like warlock, druid, mage then just take the free L. I know a lot of old heads won't agree with me and it's okay. But I really didn't get as much enjoyment out of hs back then as I do now. I get more cards then ever and they're more interesting than they ever used to be
I think a lot of the people that pine for the 'good old days' don't realize that HS has always kind of sucked. The problem of playing on curve literally still exists and Blizzard for some reason still refuses to stop printing cards that essentially either just win the game on turn 5 or just deal 40+ damage from your hand. At least HS back then was more honest.
the people that pine for the good old days of stats on curve forget stuff was as busted and unbalanced back then. Druid was busted for years. Rogue was busted for years. Spider tank might have been the biggest statstick on 3, but it didn't cost 3 mana a lot of the time because mechwarper boosted it out. Freeze mage was a deck for ages and farmed stats on curve decks, but tended to struggle because there were even faster decks and control warriors that it couldn't kill. Sure, there were decks that played stuff on curve, but they weren't the top decks.
I think that it's a necessary evolution as players get more used to the game. Let's say that you make the first ever card game, if it's a very complicated game with a ton of special effects all over the place it's gonna be very inaccessible and not very enjoyable as you can't just learn how a card game works, you also need to learn everything on top of the simple mechanics. I think that hearthstone started out as a simpler card game and as people got used to the general gameplay loop they have to introduce more complexity to the game. Some people enjoyed not only the simpler gameplay loop but also how the entire base form was new and then you'll look extra favourably on the past state of the game.

Many of those cards are obvious fakes, even if you're not that deep in. Example: Gallon explained in one of your videos that Hearthstone generally puts the condition before the outcome. Hence "Fire Up" would read roughly `Deal 1 damage to all enemies. If you control a *Secret*, this deals double damage.`

While i think its great that you had fun with making this video, i dont really see this kind of format as interesting, when any of the fake cards could feasibly be real cards. It feels like if i was in the guessing position, i would have a conversation similar to this: "oh, this card doesnt feel off, so i guess its real", "oh no, its totally fake, but actually, the way its made it could totally be real", "so there was absolutely nothing indicating it wasnt real? how exactly was i supposed to guess that?", "dunno". and that just doesnt feel like anything, to be honest.

It actually makes perfect sense that Harbringer of Ulduar is a mech. All Titanforge were either made of stone or metal, so it being a mech makes perfect sense.

Priests have a way to cheat out Neptulon even if they draw it, and even earlier than the prior minimum of Turn 3 (dredged Shadow Essence), heck a Turn 1 Neptulon could be a thing (true, the 7/7 body isn't there, but that's still 8/4 stats on turn 1, and big boi's in the rez pool now.
