      Yeah! We have what we call Mutual Healthcare where every family pays 3 us dollars per year for each member. This allows the country to buy all the needed medicine beforehand, and when a person is sick, he is treated for free. When it's a strong disease that costs a lot, a citizen pays only 15% of the total bill. The families which are too poor to afford these 3 dollars per member are given Mutual Healthcare card for free by the government, and a cow so that one day they will be able to pay for this card themselves.

      The country volunteered to receive the immigrants who UK called illegal and didn't want. It was an act of kindness because Rwandans had empathy for these people who were in a situation that Rwanda itself has been in 30 years ago during the genocide. Our history is complicated, and we have done some Rwandans [who should be judged individually] had done some inhuman things in past hence the reports. However, we have been helping refugees from Eritrea and both Sudans for years where we help them settle in our country while they apply for asylum legally in Europe. It seems you're have only taken the negative side from the reports when there was also a positive side that UK based on to initiate the deal. Those people weren't coming here to be imprisoned. Plastic bag ban is so dumb and pointless im so glad it didn't stick where i live. Considering how much plastic is actually in one of those bags it does nothing for the environment compared to all the other plastic use. Not to mention they are so much easier to use than paper.

    I get it’s good and all but if it’s so good why does the UK government have a bill to fight mass emigration from Rwanda?

    • @finlayandrew
      @finlayandrew หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      They have this due to the issues with human rights and the anti gay stuff. Although they say there is no corruption there is still a little bit.

      That bill is now dead. No asylum seekers to Rwanda. It looks better than Britain to be fair.

      Not fighting people from there. Instead, wanting to send the people who enter UK illegal from all over the world, especially Africa and Middle East. Humanitarian activists were claiming it was inhuman to have UK kick out people and sending them to an African nation.

      @@finlayandrew the "anti-gay" stuff is in Uganda, not Rwanda, so you should double-check your "facts". And no there's no issues with human rights in relation to asylum seekers or refugees considering Rwanda had already previously assisted Libya with this exact issue by hosting their refugees at the behest of the UN, and also are hosting Afghan schoolgirl refugees as well with the support of the international community.
