I had to order Githu Muigai's book straight from Kabarak University - the publisher - because of how highly I rank him. I can't think of a better lawyer! He motivated me to register for LL.B at the UoN as a second degree.
And look, it is in his humility. He doesn't want to directly state it that he was the best student in his undergraduate class and the entire university that year (1984).
I like how he emphasises the fact that education changed his life forever. His teachers of law, especially the late land guru, Professor Hastings Opinya Okoth-Ogendo, must be smiling, beyond the skies, truly satisfied with their product in Githu.
    What a man!

What a story! Totally loved it! Githu is a great story teller. 1. He should write a book, and 2. He should get another chance at Engage to finish the story. E.g. Did Aunt Mary get an equal sharing? Were the lawyers helpful? What happened to Uncle Paul? In short, please get Githu back to complete his story😍

People have a lot of History that they don't tell us about. What Githu is telling us explains how Kikuyus ended up in the Rift Valley. I have always thought that it was Kihika Kimani who took us to Rift Valley in the 1960s and 70s. But it appears that Kikuyus went to Rift Valley as early as the 1920s.

Never a dull day with the "mortician". Sad I couldn't make it to listen to this in person. 😌
Do have him over to tell the rest of the story.
We need a sequel where select speakers who were pressed for time can come back to finish what they started! While we have time, let's finish on the three-piece, his Chambers and Snocream!
Prof's diction is unmatched and his delivery is poetic! Top drawer stuff!
