6’3” and getting ready to maybe attempt this, myself. Best lesson I’ve learned with replacing stock Harley parts: a rubber mallet and a $10 Walmart breaker bar will save your back! Lol
Great to see you Younger Guys doing Aftermarket Mods on your Bikes....Wrenching not only saves you money but it also gives you more of an appreciation for your Bike....PS...You get better at it as you get older and learn from your mistakes...👍😎
Truth! I did the forwards on my bike by myself… So I help him put his on because I made a lot of mistakes 😂 I stripped one of my bolts and had to drill it out, and it took hours
@@RoboRider22 I am 62 and i cant tell you how many bone head mistakes i made....But i dont make many anymore....Always take your time and never force anything is my advice...
I put the Happy Moto ones on my Low Rider ST yesterday. They are aluminium compared to steel Harley ones, so time will tell how they last. All the pivot points are nice and tight though.
Yeah @BartowBunny looks alot more relaxed on that baby! I remember after they released the latest version of the low rider s I sat on it at brandon (now known as tampa bay harley) and I couldnt do it with how uncomfortably high those controls were. But now all he needs is a nice pair of slip ons so that baby can roar lol. Nice job brothers!
@@bane1240 yes. Very different parts. I’ve installed both types. While amazons are 1/5th the cost, they’re def more complicated. The ones in this video are even different than the ones I put on my bike.

Ain’t that the truth? 😂. The link is in the description for the exact ones he got. Unfortunately, the forwards I got (happymoto) no longer makes any
Nice job guys! Love that you addressed the air breather and showed the rider triangle.
Yessir! I know it was a hot topic lol
Forward controls are life changing.
100000%
indeed they are

What about the giant hole in your primary?
My kit came with a small rubber piece to fill that hole. I forgot to tell Jerry about that. I think he may have the same piece
2 guys one wrench. sorry had to
LOL DEAD!
loved the sheesh emoji hahahaha thanks a lot with the help on installing the fowards now i ride comfy happy
I just bought these, could you verify if there is a primary hole cover in that kit? And do you need to replace the break line?
There was NOT a primary cover unfortunately. And you don’t replace the break line. They give you a bracket to move all the break stuff on to.
@@RoboRider22 would you know where to get one / what the part is called? If not don't worry I can find it
@@chueb I’m not sure but @bartowbunny might. These were his forwards and he said he was getting one
U guys know Harley has instructions on its site for their kit that U could have followed, right?
@@bane1240 they’re not Harley forwards. Amazon
@@RoboRider22 True but are the instructions that different?
