Please don´t make the mistake to confuse "best selling" with "best" in terms of artistry. Unfortunately Blur bought into this "Britpop" and "Battle of the Bands" marketing stunt, that only went great for Oasis. Blur´s later work on "Blur" and "13" is what makes this band for me, but then we´re not talking about "Britpop" but serious musicianship.
It's a shame Blur are probably most famous for Song 2 as there's so much better stuff like this. Also this was used perfectly for that Nike advert that was around at the time, when sports brands did really good ads(Can you imagine how expensive that advert would be nowadays?).

Blur v Oasis was massive for a time in the 90's. Phil Daniels is brilliant on this track. Great fun, great review. Thank you as ever, for doing it.
