Happy Training!
I was able to teach this to my 3 month old Maligator to do this, i am so happy
I taught my Shepherd 'out' with two balls. She had one and wanted the other one. As soon as she opened her mouth to drop the one she had, I'd say 'out'. Didn't take long for her to get it. Using two items, though, inlays the expectation of getting something in return for releasing what they have. After shot got 'out' we then went on to not letting her have the replacement until I say 'take it'.
Thx Andy if you keep making these videos your gonna make me a professional for frigging free. Really tho thank you for all your hard work
Coordination and smoothness take lots of practice for some of us. 🤣 My puppy's trainer is teaching me how to play with him like how Andy is. Playing with my dog is so much fun and it is easier to get him to "out" when there is something else to replace it with. However, my trainer is also teaching me how to be the one who is the decision maker so my pup is being taught to "out" upon command. He is in basic training, though.
Yeah..first time my trainer had me use a leash, command heel, give food, I felt soooo clumsy..
Great technique
👍👍👍 very, very good explanation. Thank You so much ❤
Seamless!! You are SO the BEST!!

🙏🏼
Always fun!
I love it❤
Nice!
Very nice Andy, nice dog too.
Excelente gracias 👌
Thanks buddy I’ve been using you training methods and they’ve been working great he has a high prey drive. He does a great job and he’s a hard worker. I’ve been looking for some clubs in southern Ohio if you happen to know anybody or any clubs in southern Ohio, I would appreciate any information. I have done some Schutson with some friends of mine in the past I’m just looking for a club to have some fun and learning be willing to travel a little bit. Thanks for all your help and thanks for you taking your time.
What a real handsome dark sable GSD
Where can I buy that vest?
Hi Andy, this is Claudia from Germany. Great method! Question: Where’s the exact difference between this one and the first training with Fiona using „switch“ first? I’m a beginner with a not trained 4 year old Malinois girl from a shelter in eastern Europe without much drive. I’d love to work her without mayor failures and might have understanding issues with my English
Love you training methods! Max is nice dog! Is he really pure bred german shepherd or he's some kind of herder? Greetings and God bless 🙏❤️
Cuida tus manos , eso es verdad mucho cuidado porque puede tomar tu mano en vez de la pelota 🥎
Holy crap this dog has got some awesome training already. That is epic.
What is your end goal for him? He is a machine.
Good info…. Will definitely start working on a better out with our Mal.
💪🏼
If he was one of your future comp dogs or you were contracted to train a patrol dog for military/police would you hold that ball at “fight bite” level (chest high) to condition him to hitting high? Or it really doesn’t matter and just getting the out upon verbal is only desired behavior here? Your decoy/agitator play is incredible btw. So are your comp dogs.
Very good,,, ilove you,, Dog very nice ❤
Hmmm I'm gonna give this a shot with my dog. In some form. I don't know that that ball can hold up to my Canè Corso's bite force since he's already larger than that boy at only 6 mos and his bite force is no joke now.
Where did you get the training vest?
Would you need this command if your dog doesn’t hold onto the ball?
Is your marker "yes"?
Hi Andy I bought some balls with handles similar to yours. My dog is more interested in tugging at the rope than actually having the ball in his mouth. And then he’s trying to grip more of the rope, any tips to get the ball in his mouth?
I have a video on this 👍🏻
@@AndyKrueger what’s the video called Andy?
Why are you presenting the new toy so slowly?
What happens if when you present the new toy the dog dose not go for it because he has a toy already?
I've been struggling for this for a while.
Hey Andy can I do this with a tug toy
Yes but I prefer the ball. On the tug the dog can develop bad grip habits like chewing and traveling.
Whats traveling?
@@GusI727 typewritering haha
Chewing around moving to different parts of the tug

Retracting my previous message.
I have no clue what you’re talking about. I have no idea who ‘Garrett’ is.
@@AndyKrueger my mistake if I have the wrong person, I sincerely apologize
Just to be clear: you weren’t the guy on TikTok claiming that another trainer put “fist to skull” on a dog? Just checking….because whoever said that was wrong about that and about this trainer and it has ruined his life and his family’s life. If you aren’t that person, I apologize
I am using this exact method to train my dog the out. He is a year old pitty Dutch shepherd mix,( not that it matters) my issue is that he tends to go for the rope more than the ball. I have tried to shorten the rope, spray the rope with bitter apple and anything else I could think of, but still goes for the rope 80% of the time. Any suggestions?.🙏🙏??
