Hi Renoir! We don't have a specific "intermediate" XAF video... but we do have a playlist that covers quite a bit: th-cam.com/play/PLB6B3E51615447F87.html If you're a customer, please contact support@devexpress.com with any of your XAF questions!
We recommend that you review our recent videos (Part 1-2) at docs.devexpress.com/eXpressAppFramework/113577/getting-started#videos or follow our text tutorials in the online documentation.
Although we do not have a dedicated video for this specific scenario, we already have online documentation tutorials for this: 1. docs.devexpress.com/eXpressAppFramework/113281/task-based-help/business-model-design/express-persistent-objects-xpo/how-to-map-a-persistent-class-to-a-database-view-which-has-no-key-field 2. docs.devexpress.com/eXpressAppFramework/113572/concepts/business-model-design/data-types-supported-by-built-in-editors/reference-foreign-key,-complex-type-properties?v=18.2 Once you map a persistent class to a database view, you can declare reference/lookup properties as for regular tables. If you experience any problem with this, please contact our support team using the www.devexpress.com/ask service.

Terrible introduction video. This is only good for simple stuff but when you want to add more customized functions it gets more complicated than doing it yourself in .NET
We aimed at describing the main XAF concepts to new users in this video - we did not want to overwhelm it intentionally. For more scenarios, be sure to check out our tutorial at docs.devexpress.com/eXpressAppFramework/112560/getting-started/comprehensive-tutorial-maindemo-application?v=18.2 or Task-Based Help at docs.devexpress.com/eXpressAppFramework/112682/task-based-help or hundreds of Code Examples at github.com/DevExpress-Examples?utf8=%E2%9C%93&q=xaf&type=&language= or search our support knowledge base for tickets from simple to complex stuff. I also hope that you will like our newest video more: th-cam.com/video/SCPho8CgalY/w-d-xo.html We will also be more than happy to consider new videos if you describe which customized functions you faced difficulties with or which scenarios you want to be covered first. Please email me at xafteam@devexpress.com.
A very clear explanation of how to get started with XAF. I'd like to see more of Seth explaining other features of XAF. Thumbs up!

@@DeveloperExpress Thanks for your response.
Can you make a video how to use a database view as a lookup item to select as input value using XAF-XPO

Sir why is that when I type xps it does not invoke the properties.
You have to press esc then tab
I have the same issue. Does anyone know how to get the xps property snippet to work?

What about XAF on VS 2017?
Hi Manuel. Yes, XAF works with VS 2017 and VS 2019. It also supports .NET Core and .NET Standard.
@@DeveloperExpress thanks team, I am introducing to xaf in your documentation site
That exploded my head !!!
It would be awesome to have a video like this, but coded with vb
i would like a also a designer only and a model first and not code first approach!
