I love how real Iam is in this interview. What a wonderful young man. I'm so happy for his success.
Luke was right, there is no “fakeness” about Iam. People that meet him, and spend any time with him, say that what you see on tv is what he’s like in real life. He’s genuine. His mom or uncle(s) travel with him too. Not only for family love, but I think it also keeps him grounded and humble.
He took one of his flip flop off! Hehe! Pacific Islanders do that sometimes ! Love how he’s so humble and always smiling! Love him!❤

Actually Stan Walker was the first Pacific Islander winner of the Idol franchise
He was the first winner for American Idol. That’s what they’ve been noting. Stan is amazing and was the Australian winner, but the media and people tend to treat each franchise as separate. Get what you mean though ♥️

Yes. He was born and raised in Hawaii. He was on concert tour- Bali, Australia, and New Zealand (with a personal stop on Tonga).
You do know that Hawaii is the 50th state of the USA?
Yes. That’s why I answered “Yes” to his question if Iam was American, and shared that he was born and raised in Hawaii.
