    Bro, I'v been living in Gold Coast since 2019 as an international student. You mentioned accommodation is cheaper here😢. Trust me, Gold Coast has become very very expensive in terms of accommodation.. it's skyrocketing... 😢😢 . One room costs $300+.😢 for 2 bedroom, you can't find any unit/house below $600😢😢

      Bro that is happening in every city. The rental prices have gone nuts. If you come to biggers cities, they have gone up significantly higher everywhere. Welcome to the world of high inflation.

    Perth is the best city in Australia, but Adelaide and Brisbane is comparable for lifestyle. I would say Perth is actually the hottest main city with the most sunshine. It is hot and dry in summer, so a meditteranean climate as he said. But he really underplayed the summer heat. Still its on the coast and the beaches with the cooling seabreezes are superb. If in Perth settle into the Perth lifestyle. It will mean shops aren't open all the time. Everything is based around the outdoors and going to park/beach/river. Main universities are UWA and Curtin, which is comparable or better in many areas. It also has Notre Dame in the Fremantle Port city (as part of Perth metro area) that many like for the historical building and different lifestyle.

    Do u know if International students can work in different cities after graduated while holding post graduate visa. For example, studied in Perth and work in Melbourne, is it still considering regional study?

    Hey, I really enjoy your videos; you're an excellent content creator. I'm seriously considering pursuing my Master's Degree in Finance in Adelaide, Australia. I've heard that studying in Adelaide can be a great opportunity to easily obtain Permanent Residency (PR).
    Do you suggest that I study English and work simultaneously, then try to get a VET course while I'm working, or should I aim to pursue a Master's degree right away? I just want to settle down there. I will complete my major in Finance by June, and I've been studying English for about two years. I would be immensely grateful if you could help clear up my doubts.

    Hi Happy New Year! Why Canberra has few population? I been to Canberra so nice and quiet city. It's like mini america for me and most of the people are decent and kind❤️

    • @overseasstudentsaustralia
      @overseasstudentsaustralia  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you friend. Happy New Year to you as well. I agree that people in Canberra are very nice. It is the area with highest literacy rate in Australia so that might be the reason that people are decent. The population is low as it is mostly beaucratic capital and the ministers and other officials after finishing their work leave for their own cities and it is much newer city than comparing to other cities.

    • @BDub2024
      @BDub2024 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Canberra was created as Aust capital. Mostly full of public servants. They don't have the industries that other cities do. I'd avoid large cities to be honest, and rule out Melb and Sydney.

      rental is very expensive now. I'd go for a city with a good lifestyle that's not too big. you want student to have a bit of a cultural experience in the city and to get outside more and mix with locals. Enjoy somewhere with fantastic beaches, parkland...and more of an outdoorsy lifestyle.

    • @overseasstudentsaustralia
      @overseasstudentsaustralia  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Personally, if i have to choose again, it will be Melbourne. Here are some reasons:
      - great universities
      - very good public transport
      - too many fun activities
      - job opportunities are decent
      - multicultural
      - good vibes
      Reasons for not choosing Melbourne is only one:
      - weird weather
      I have friends living in Brisbane and Adelaide, they don't find their cities too happening and transport is also lacking compared to Melbourne. Hope this helps.

      In Australia for domestic students the uni doesn't make a huge difference as unis offer same courses often at a similar standard. there can be a bit of snobbish factor, but good marks count and experience. For international students I think overseas they do pay attention to the university and world rankings.
