The trailer makes it seem like a run-of-the-mill romantic comedy, but it is far more complex and brilliant than that. And quite funny as well. Great and underrated movie.

I am sorry u get the idea but u didn't see the movie its deeper than the trailer shows according to this foolish comment I see in every trailer u can just read the plot and get the idea too no need to see any movie ever

How mean and sneaky the classmates were to Marcus and Ali was so hateful to him in the beginning!! The film is from 2002, and today Marces has grown into a handsome, tall man!! The actor who played Ali can't hold a candle to him when it comes to looks, but that serves him right!! The film is really beautiful and also sad!
