I watched a few episodes and the VO was as distracting and inane as I'd imagined. I think Annaleigh Tipton is a very charming actress but she seemed to be in a totally diff show. So that's as much as the VO achieved? That sometimes what they said was the opposite of what they were thinking? Really?
Sham Bolic It showed a different perspective. It depicts the inner thoughts of both main characters, rather than a single point of view. It's interesting to see the external behaviour in terms of what people do (what they think they should do) despite the fact that they are often actually thinking the same thing. This isn't something that can be done simply through "showing".
This is the sort of trailer that talks you OUT of watching the series. Anytime a trailer starts off telling you to "meet" a lead actor, you know you're in trouble: "Meet Peter! In his mind, he's quite the player!" "Then, there's Dana! She's got a whole different mindset!" Meet me, saying "No, thank you. This looks terrible"
I love Analeigh since ANTM but honestly,this looked like a low budget comedy movie trailer and then I realized it was for a TV series? Wait,what? It will be cancelled very soon unfortunately.Network TV has been seriously disappointing this season.And I'm not talking about ABC alone.
