The grouping thing won't effect me, as these groups are all formed in secret via a clique. I don't like cliques, so I won't join them regardless 👍 I put my things like sprites in the guild bank as I've got a few millions of gold and end game stuff.
I've been meaning t ask, is there such a thing as a Support Ranger anymore? One that gives buffs to the party and debuffs to Bosses and Mobs? I think the Warden used to be able to do this back in the day. {:o:O:}
Ummm, last time we tested, the maximum negative "stat" debuff cap to an enemy was 10%! Did they change that? Haven't been around lately myself to retest this... Wish you a delightful new mod :)
Hi Gus. You mention using the Riotous Rothe for damage mitigation but what's the uptime on that? Show No Fear provides a shield for up to 20 seconds but how often is it cast? Intimidating Bellow reduces damage output but does it affect bosses and if so for how long? Hope you can help with this.
I need to double check but it appears very high. Once it's up, it seems to always be up. But that's from memory so don't trust that! Would be a fairly simple test in training room.
the red dragon only debuff is the minus crit avoidance though? idk if a single specific stat debuff will help the group as much as other things. but things like the pegasus and others are definitely more worthwhile than tunnels when stacked.
@gusarcher5446 Do mobs have crit avoidance? After stat rework , the official info posted by noworries-lead dev, was that mobs do not have crit avoidance or awareness. I have not seen any info since then that something changed.
I expect to see dps using tutor (5% ca), flapjack(5%ca), scorpion( CA), cattie brie (5%speed), etrien(2% power and critstrike) and captain sartell ( 5% AP and ocasionally 5% crit sev)....all those have great sing target dmg
Spined devil should not be summoned in dungeons and for sure not by the dps. Except armor break, that i have tested and works, I do not know if other comp enchancement power works. I do not know if the deflect one works because mob deflect 50% anway, I do not know if the crit avoidance works. And for sure I do not know the math on a specific group if is worth handicapping a dps for it.

Hey Bro, love your explanation and videos as always. You once again made a small error, because you have 5 players in a group and then you multiply the percentage points which is equal to 15,000 not 12,000. After that you need to divide them up by 7.5% because you are really only losing half of the Red Dragon Stats and then you will divide the total amount from the 3,000 which is 4. This total amount makes you lose approximately 750 Item Level damage. That’s close to 20%
Ty Seifer, ok let me double check with you. Please scrutinize this! For 10 man content and assuming 6x dps. 1 dps = 1/6th of the damage (ofc its less but for the ease of math, we are assuming the 10x companions and 4x supports aren't attacking and all DPS are doing relatively equal damage). 1x TV = 25% of the DPS damage during artifact call. (Assuming a player is doing 12k magnitude damage during arti call). But if replaced with a 1k mount power than buffs, now that DPS isn't losing 25% magnitude during arti call, they are losing 17% magnitude damage during articall. If so, 17% of the 1/6th damage is a total loss of 2.83% magnitude for the group during the arti call or 2.83% of the group's total damage during the articall. As long as the buff improves the group's damage by over 2.83%, it's a win, right?
I completely disagree. Not with the utility of buffs/debuffs, but with the concept that everything is better than personal dmg. It is not. Most fights are not static, they are not ST only, there is limited time, one can not build for 7 different stat adding comp. It pained me to see groups failing the last skirmish and dungeon because dps did not have enough accuracy to do dmg, but they sorted out buffing comps. Buffing 10% of nothing is nothing.
It's way too much work for this shitty game. I have my frog dps and I keep that on always. I'm not gonna switch all my companions mounts and gear around for each different group.
The new top companions are very over rated. Even bowman, when it was top dps comp, wasnt as good as something like scorpion. The new tutor buff will be pretty big when it goes live. Since itll do decent dmg, a dps can run that, supports can use porto/drizzt and the other 2 dps can run flapjack and spined or scorpion if the content is best with scorpion.
That's what I'm thinking too. But there is always players looking for top damage comp because that's what they enjoy. I tend to enjoy setups that make the run smoother/faster though. To each their own.
@@gusarcher5446 So just ONE Red Dragon, or two in a 10-man trial (one per party?), would massively boost everyone's damage? Due to poor time management and my need to sleep, I have Neverwinter's Hand on 29 of my 36 characters, and the Red Dragon on 28. So I could make sure all my Tanks and Healers have the unequipped Red Dragon. It's best on a Support character? If they had not shut the servers down 30 minutes early for maintenance, my Halfling Paladin would have the Red Dragon as well 😕😕 She managed to get the Hand by opening 1 Bounty for the Figurine every day until the day the Last Chance Vendor left, but needed one more Protector's Speech skirmish. {:o:O:}

Yeah, that was changed some time ago. Fortunately the crit avoidance wasn't capped at 90%.

The crit avoidance is actually better than a 15% debuff when we have debuffs sitting around 200%;)
So in 10-man content, maybe but not in dungeons because of dps checks on bosses. Even the strongest dps will fail without that instant 3k magnitude
Yeah, the math doesnt really add up for 5 man content. @@NytLegend

Extra packs that have let us get a few more slots. They don't come very often. Stuff like the dragonborn packs.
