I love this toy hauler. My husband and I were looking for the perfect one and this pretty much did it. We got camping memberships for across the U.S., purchased our 350 ford duelly, and my husband had just told me he was finally giving up over the road trucking. We were ready to trade our other camper in for something like this. Well, the next day after he said he was going to put his 2 weeks in, he passed away in his 18 wheeler down in Tennessee. We live in Pa. I’ve heard of this happening to so many people, never in my wildest dreams did I think we’d be apart of that group. Dear God people, make your dreams come true before you run out of time. This rig would’ve probably been our choice. One of the best floor plans I’ve seen other than the tie downs in the toy hauler area. This would have made our dreams come true 😢
I have friends that own these for hunting and vacations to use their atv’s with and they all complain that they wish they made a better product or another manufacturer would make one with better parts and suspension at the same price points. 2 of them said the first thing you have to do is replace the suspension to a independent suspension because the factory suspension always breaks especially the axels when going on dirt roads. They also said all the latches, accessories, fixtures, are cheaper. also the tie downs have to be redrilled t and replaced in the floor to increase the tie downs to proper strength to support vehicles for safety concerns. They also said they took the bathrooms in the garage out and sometimes the loft to fit their side by sides properly.
The compartment on the passenger side behind the rear entrance is storage for the rear deck steps. We looked at that very unit at the show and spent about 45 mins talking to the Heartland rep. Very nice unit and the rep was very helpful!
Thank you for showing the generator, even if just a glimpse. It is so hard for me to find reviews that are willing to show the included/built-in generator. If you take requests, I would LOVE to see some of your reviews going more in-depth into the generator, and it’s fuel source…maybe even giving some extra info on the solar that some of these units include. As a journeyman electrician, that stuff is absolutely fascinating to me! Glad I found your channel, and thank you for your time making all of these videos!
Hello 🙂 I stopped the video at 18:27 to comment on that ledge. I would rather it not be there to put a coffee maker or some other appliance there. It's a small kitchen to begin with. If there is not option to NOT have that ledge or shelf, then it's ok too. This toy hauler layout is probably my favorite so far. I don't think we would ever buy a toy hauler, but it was cool to look at. Thanks!
Wow, this toy hauler is indeed so unique that is only for a family or individuals who like the living space but will only be bringing two bicycles or three the most on their journey as it has a small garage for toys for a huge toy hauler.
And what happens when you have a problem with your $126,000 RV and Heartland refuses to stand behind it? The reviews I’ve seen, I wouldn’t consider this company.
I agree and those electrical wires were a complete mess not labeled and tangles huge huge huge safety concern could catch fire I work on gens for a living and I would refuce that trailer till they fixed that
The door of the compartment where the TV comes out is designed to be at an angle to prevent glare. Reason I think that is because I spent a lot of time building a holder for the TV over my outdoor hot tub. I ended up having to put the door at an angle. It worked great!
Loved the paint Liked the kitchen areanice living room but need different furniture Needs porcelain toilets. Needs different tie down system if your usi g it to haul toys I would like bigger tires (17 1/2) inch. I say it need these upgrades to compete in that price range. We are seriously looking for our perfect toy hauler and seen many I would give it a 7 out of 10 Thanks so much for ta,ing the time to give us the tour Cheers Rob.
For just me being older I could use this as a live in definitely. But need different dresser in Bedroom something nicer and twice as many drawers. It's for 2 people and above bed storage for extra linens. Cp machines or oxygen machines. It would be nice for fire and co2 alarms never hear of them mention, and choice of color of furniture?
Instead of three 2 seat recliners the slide should have come over to accommodate a L sectional and this would have been our#1 contender. The slide loveseat is practically useless due to being blocked off 😢
I like both color schemes, and pink would be really cool! I like the layout when you first walk in. I don’t like that you can’t get to the refrigerator when the slide is closed. I like all the kitchen counter space! You could put a small coffee maker and an air fryer on the lip. I like the paneling in the garage. I like that you can actually enclose the patio! You could leave your dogs out there. I like the loft in the garage as well. I don’t like the metal blinds or the plastic toilet. I like the tub in the full bath. This one isn’t my favorite.
Seems to me that having the entry door in the slide would cause you to have to go through the garage to open the slide which could potentially be a pain if you have to climb over anything. Also the recliners in the slide will probably block up traffic flow esp up to the master bed/main bathroom.
The 4006 has always been my favorite for floor plan in a toy hauler. It doesn’t have that long 4 person sofa that I hate. I think over its perfect and I hope they don’t change anything about it. I’d say the only complaint I have is you can’t get to the upstairs bed and bath with slides in.
I saw in another video of someone they said they figured out on their cyclone 4007 that it’s like double jointed on the compartment doors. They kept hitting their heads and then figured it out lol so it can go u higher than that I believe.
That was nice. I understand what you said about the outside color scheme at the outset of the video. Some may like, some may not - it depends on personal preferences and how color imaging effects visual imagery input (I know I didn't express that right but its the thing of how color combination and design lines effect the unconscious reaction to them). The only drawback I see is the smaller hot water heater and the fact they you can only have a combo w/d unit.
We have the 3714. Door rams dont go all the way up. You need to push up hard for them to open all the way. Grill griddle is cool but it makes the side of the coach all greasy from the grill to the awning.
I love the garage as a second bedroom and added space for my dogs this one I definitely need to add to my list patios are so multi purpose with our dogs we can use a area for them in the event we need to potty them without going outside just connect a zoen and shavings on the door quick clean up and safe
First off, I love the color scheme and the decor. Very nice. However I have mixed feelings about the living room. I noticed for one there’s no dinette anywhere. I think it would have been nice to maybe have a booth dinette where the theater seats are to the right of the entrance. And right across from that I think a sofa that turns into a bed would be better than having the theater seats there. That would still leave the one set of theater seats directly across from the tv. So overall I like everything except for the living room. But thanks for sharing it with us!😊
Do not buy one!!!! We are dealing with a lawsuits over this unit. We know 3 others who are currently having the same issues we’re having. If you want to know more follow our page, we will be uploading a video about it soon. Heartland is a horrible company.
Love heartland, love our heartland .. we have a 2022 Fuel 287.. this cyclone, Full body and paint and all but not frameless windows .. bummer.. looks to have hydraulic leveling system though . Dropped the ball on the windows Heartland .. still a amazing unit
This is by far my favorite toy hauler... what would this run someone? Can you down grade on somethings to lower the price? Or get the sane floor model just not as new or something? I would like to have one that has the living room at the front of the 5th wheel part kitchen in the middle and the garage my bedroom... wonder if that is possible?
They’re pretty much the same as everything else. The only things I’ve seen that are different and close to this price are Brinkley and East to West Tandara that do dovetail construction on the drawers. Those are the only tow toy haulers I can recall that have that kind of construction in this price range.
Do not buy one!!!! We are dealing with a lawsuits over this unit. We know 3 others who are currently having the same issues we’re having. If you want to know more follow our page, we will be uploading a video about it soon. Heartland is a horrible company.
Extremely happy you covered this toy hauler! Been checking this particular model out for a couple months and am leaning towards buying one. I am with you on the tie downs being sub par though! Great video!
Do not buy one!!!! We are dealing with a lawsuits over this unit. We know 3 others who are currently having the same issues we’re having. If you want to know more follow our page, we will be uploading a video about it soon. Heartland is a horrible company.
Don’t do it. Floor plan is very appealing but after walking through a few, they are the absolute bottom of the Line as far as fit finish/ quality. Vary similar floorplan in a voltage 4225 with muuuuch better quality and storage.
If anyone from the industry is listening. Can we please please please have a drain valve for the fuel tanks?? There is no way to drain a generator fuel or toy fuel tanks completely.
I still can’t find what is the internet hook up for this? Would it bring an antenna like the winegard type? On this one. You didn’t spoke/showed about the roof.
This size of a trailer needs a 4500 or larger truck. And owners should need an indorsment for hauling this size of a load. And should not be exempt at scales.
The kitchen is LOADED with storage but is a bit tight for maybe more fluffy folks. That "decore" shelf would fit my little 2 cup coffee maker, coffee grinder & toaster. 😊 Plus some cute decore.
The worktop that slides out in the bedroom, if there was another worktop that could slot inplace behind the pulled out worktop, that could be used as a computer/laptop desk with multiple monitors, if there was room for a chair. Maybe the designers could try folding the bed into the wall somehow, like a Murphy bed, maybe by tilting it beneath the floor slightly to account for the low ceiling height.
Presentation is great once again, thank you! To me curtains are very tacky. Looking in an RV. I’ve never seen curtains in an RV that I actually liked the looks of. This is no exception!
Do not buy one!!!! We are dealing with a lawsuits over this unit. We know 3 others who are currently having the same issues we’re having. If you want to know more follow our page, we will be uploading a video about it soon. Heartland is a horrible company.
I'd use the shelf in that tiny (but efficient) kitchen to put things I'm using for prep and the counter below for the actual work. It's very efficient to have a kitchen where all you have to do is turn around to work. Because I'm short I'd have been ok with the smaller Furoin 3-burner stove with a smaller oven where the door does not stick out so far, but I could work with this. Nice that the microwave can be reached by a short person. Is there a table in the garage so it can be used as a dining space? The bathroom swivel wall is a very clever idea and I'd personally rather have my laundry in the garage because then it's accessible to everyone. I think the living room area is OK because I don't ever recline in a recliner. But since there is so much extra bunk space in the garage I can see why they did that. Yes, tiny bathroom but there are two so that is impressive. The master bedroom is very nice but it's pretty much standard. The sliding dresser top I've seen a few times and someone was thinking with that one. Nice tour.
good job w/pointing out the CRAP they put in here(though there is plenty more) for an almost $200k rig, it is UNACCEPTABLE!!! too bad some of the manf folks were not there, I love it when at a show they come in and then I hit em up w/the same critique, they get the best shit-eatin grin on their face it is priceless, like how dare you bring this up when other people are around, for me there is no better time to do it!!!!
I like it but when furniture is up against where sink is- they need to put some kind of splash guard to keep water from spilling over onto chairs or ppl. That's in a lot of 5th wheels.
My wife and I love your videos. This is one of the floorplans she absolutely loves, but our last two trailers have been grand design and we are spoiled by their customer service. We currently have a 376 fifth wheel. We are looking at either the cyclone or the Alliance Valor Do you have any feedback on heartland’s customer service, it sounded like during Covid a lot of their units had problems, but less people having issues with the new models in the last year or so, would appreciate any feedback you have
We love this floor plan but heard horror stories about Heartland. Last two 5th wheels have been Grand Design and we are looking at a new Valor. Any issues yet with your 2024??
Update: Is it possible that the Cyclone 4007 no longer exists and is no longer being built? I can no longer find it on the Heartland website. If it is no longer built, what is the successor with the same floor plan? I think the floor plan is just perfect. Many thanks to everyone and best regards Kim Hello Myles, I have been watching your videos for a few years now, they are really great and show the best info on the RV's. I am always looking for floorplans that are suitable for families and full time travelers, both travel trailers and fifth wheelers. My favorite floor plan is the Heartland Cyclone 4007. I would really like to see an actual video of this model from you. Is it in your pipeline? Many thanks for your tireless videos. I'm really a fan from Germany and hope that we can buy a trailer from you one day. Best regards Kim
No eating area? Get rid of one of those couches and make it a table & chairs. And that back half-bath was insanely small; they could've widened it by 6" and that would be better but still not great.
Personally I think it would be cooler to have 3 seats on the Passenger side and then two barstools at the bar, the larger slide with 3 seats would have made it super huge, It is about time they do the entry in the slideout,
Can confirm. Currently own a keystone fusion and I gota say after walking through these cyclones, the fit/finish is by far the worst of any “luxury” brand toy hauler out there. Only appealing thing with the cyclone 4006 is the floor plan.
Disgusting!!!! ESPECIALLY KNOWING IT WILLLLL BE IN FOR MULTIPLE WARRANTY REPAIS IN THE FIRST 3 MONTHS!!! THESE THINGS ARE MADE BY AMISH OXYCONTIN ADDICTS.
Yeah as soon as I saw they have a $400 no name Amazon inverter in it I would immediately walk away. If they can't even be bothered too spend an extra couple of dollars to get a name brand inverter that isn't going to burn the camper down I certainly wouldn't want it.
No table by bed real downer I would opt for queen bed with tables no drawers in kitchen where's the silverware go and utensils no plugin the little space
Toy hauler is not for me because to get one you can actually use you to look at the size, they are huge which limits your camping adventures. Plus when you load those up you may be looking at beefing your truck suspension or go bigger on the truck. But that is me to someone who likes atv’s motorcycle and or whatever else it may be perfect
The kitchen is a fail. Try taking out a roast with a heavy pot from across the open oven door. If they had done the stove/oven on the side and moved the sink to the center it would have worked. You can then stand beside the open oven door and reach in. That's what i do at home because i can't reach over my oven door.
When you said "only a 12k tie down rating" I was wondering what in the world you were planning on putting back there... but then you corrected yourself
Why do they keep putting extra things in the garage? If you're offering a 13 plus foot garage, let me have a FULL GARAGE! Especially if I'm spending 150k to go camping
Thank you for watching! Let me know you think and click here to subscribe to FIRMLY UNBOUND: youtube.com/@FirmlyUnbound?si=P-uZIl-i7h39jUZb

Great review! Love the floor plan, but where do you eat? No table, chairs, designated dining space.

every toy hauler he mentions the d ring tie downs in the garage never fails gotta make sure they are best in the industry
Would never consider a Heartland after watching Liz Amazing’s video about the bad quality and the criminal customer service.
I love that garage, but I do agree with you for the tiedowns. They should have the strip type that can handle a lot more poundage.
Loved the paint
Liked the kitchen areanice living room but need different furniture
Needs porcelain toilets.
Needs different tie down system if your usi g it to haul toys

Nice to have the entry door in the side out. But this one the kitchen is tight along with the bathroom.
I can just image the large amount of water splattering from the faucet that is right behind the 2 recliners across from the tv.
I saw in another video of someone they said they figured out on their cyclone 4007 that it’s like double jointed on the compartment doors. They kept hitting their heads and then figured it out lol so it can go u higher than that I believe.

Love that you're honest w/ pros & cons😊❤
We have the 3714. Door rams dont go all the way up. You need to push up hard for them to open all the way. Grill griddle is cool but it makes the side of the coach all greasy from the grill to the awning.
I love the garage as a second bedroom and added space for my dogs this one I definitely need to add to my list patios are so multi purpose with our dogs we can use a area for them in the event we need to potty them without going outside just connect a zoen and shavings on the door quick clean up and safe
I love this and the kitchen n living awesome
First off, I love the color scheme and the decor. Very nice. However I have mixed feelings about the living room. I noticed for one there’s no dinette anywhere. I feel a lot of people may have a similar idea! There are other toy haulers out there with that kind of layout.
Dinette in the garage with the happy Jack couches. I feel like a dinette is wasted living space for this unit focused around the living area.
I love this trailer!🫵🏽🥹♥️🤗😊
Nice unit with all the slides/doors I would get an third party independent RV inspection before buying it. Great video thanks Myles
Thanks for watching
Do not buy one!!!! We are dealing with a lawsuits over this unit. We know 3 others who are currently having the same issues we’re having. If you want to know more follow our page, we will be uploading a video about it soon. Heartland is a horrible company.
Not Camping. Lets pile up a ton of headaches and go for a road trip...Get a Tear Drop and go camping!
Love heartland, love our heartland .. we have a 2022 Fuel 287.. this cyclone, Full body and paint and all but not frameless windows .. bummer.. looks to have hydraulic leveling system though . Dropped the ball on the windows Heartland .. still a amazing unit
I would remove the recliner across the TV continue the counter dropped 3 inches and put two benches to eat
Are cable slides a good option that is actually my biggest concern
That compartment looks like it's just big enough for that back ladder to patio deck
Just found your channel!
I like this floor plan, though the kitchen is a bit tight. I would use the "hauler" area for my office and art studio.
This is by far my favorite toy hauler... what would this run someone? Can you down grade on somethings to lower the price? Or get the sane floor model just not as new or something? i love blue it's my favorite color ❤

Or a Murphy bed that splits in half before retracting. Then it would only be half the height.
Presentation is great once again, thank you! To me curtains are very tacky. Looking in an RV. I’ve never seen curtains in an RV that I actually liked the looks of. This is no exception!
How does storing things in and around the slide out TV work? I would think they would worry about load shifting and breaking TV
Absolutely loved this one glad u covered all of it

Rain runoff would be my guest on the doors.
Love this floor plan
Yeah, this is amazing very beautiful
We have a 2021 just like this with the full body paint but the front of ours is not up n down ! I like ours better!! We have garage as a 2 nd bedroom

Love your honesty.
Can't use the bathroom in the toy hauler area if you install a washer/dryer combo. Seems like an oversight.
I have a question where is the dining room I love this one but my husband was wondering where are you supposed to eat
Just bought a 2024 from the Hershey rv show where I was in your video kinda of the tour of it
We love this floor plan but heard horror stories about Heartland. Last two 5th wheels have been Grand Design and we are looking at a new Valor. Any issues yet with your 2024??
I'd love to hear an update as well!
Update:
Is it possible that the Cyclone 4007 no longer exists and is no longer being built? I can no longer find it on the Heartland website.
If it is no longer built, what is the successor with the same floor plan?
I think the floor plan is just perfect.
Many thanks to everyone and best regards Kim
Hello Myles,
I have been watching your videos for a few years now, they are really great and show the best info on the RV's.
The back storge is for the deck steps
No eating area? Get rid of one of those couches and make it a table & chairs.
And that back half-bath was insanely small; they could've widened it by 6" and that would be better but still not great.
I hate recliners without the divider armrest in between the 2 recliners
The recliner next to the door blocks the steps.
Personally I think it would be cooler to have 3 seats on the Passenger side and then two barstools at the bar, the larger slide with 3 seats would have made it super huge, It is about time they do the entry in the slideout,
Aerodynamics don't matter when your getting 8-9mpg regardless of the grade, wind, or etcetera.
Good point haha
Starting price is $109k........omg
--it does look cool
-what happens when the battery dies?? Do you have to find a charger...
It has a built in generator.
I really like this floor plan ..just to long for me. Can you do a videos on the cyclone 3714
Hartland is notorious for having very high microwaves. Bring a stepstool
Unless U have a Wing on the Truck to Push up the wind of the wall to Top Like Semi’s.
Ok. $186K MSRP + 1200lb D-rings + metal blinds + plastic toilet = absolute POS. Criminal.
Can confirm. Currently own a keystone fusion and I gota say after walking through these cyclones, the fit/finish is by far the worst of any “luxury” brand toy hauler out there. Only appealing thing with the cyclone 4006 is the floor plan.
@@jonathandjohnston Sorry to hear, brother. These RV manufacturers should be put on trial.
Only a 5500w Gen. and they want how much? Waste of money
I absolutely love this
Myles, now you can snuggle on not one but all three sofas/recliners. 😂
We appreciate your opinions.
Thanks! I’ll keep them coming
What do you think of the actual "quality" of the interior?? Does it feel well built?
Can you tell me if it is possible to put a queen mattress instead of a king
Where can I buy this model? I can’t find one near me.
The kitchen is a fail. Try taking out a roast with a heavy pot from across the open oven door. If they had done the stove/oven on the side and moved the sink to the center it would have worked. You can then stand beside the open oven door and reach in. That's what i do at home because i can't reach over my oven door.
I have jacks.and chains and tools in my under box there.
I prefer a slightly noisy AC, i do not want a whisper quiet AC.
I dislike how the TV/fireplace is the door to the office. They easily could have put door on either side of TV/ fireplace
When you said "only a 12k tie down rating" I was wondering what in the world you were planning on putting back there... but then you corrected yourself
Already don't like how the patio is set up...no legs...no pull strap...no thankless water heater?! 😒
Take the Good With The Bad
Looks like you’ve done your homework prep on this RV before filming the demo.
A one person kitchen with 3 sofas? Different doesn’t equal function.
Nice looking but lacking on alot of things the other manufacturers are doing
Grab bar,s Ii the shower for the neddyy
Why do they keep putting extra things in the garage? If you're offering a 13 plus foot garage, let me have a FULL GARAGE! Especially if I'm spending 150k to go camping
Good God Lady, You gonna write a BOOK...?😮😢😮😂
Beautiful❤
I love this toy hauler living atea
