It was Ren playing piano at the beginning of MG3. He also wrote the music for piano and strings, produced, co-directed and edited the video, wrote the amazing lyrics, of course and gave this incredible live performance!
This was very well done. I think, you got every point Ren was trying to make. Ren has a unique way of taking uncomfortable subjects and making it entertaining to watch. Clever way to get people talking. You have one AMAZING day. ❤🙂❤

You managed to pick things up really quickly in Part 1. Ren performed Money Game 2 recently live at the Sky Arts Awards here in the UK - even though he was clearly sick and unwell at the time, he still killed it & got the message across. MG3 won multiple awards for Ren & Samuel in GB & Europe.
Well, I hope you don't hate me then, but Orwell did not say that, Selwyn Duke did, he's a former professional tennis player turned writer/lecturer who does social commentary. He's a conservative darling and Christian nationalist who used to be on the Rush Limbaugh show. That, my friend, was a great analysis of Ren's way of thinking, his view of the world and the effects of unchecked, pure greed on us and the world. Finally someone who has enough understanding for these masterful works of Ren. And yes, he is a genius. Thank you for your insights and thoughts. I wish you blessed holidays. ❤️ Greetings from Germany - man, that was a joy to watch 👏👏👏👍🤝🙋♀️

The book the kid was reading in Part 3 was "Business Economics" a through back to Part 2 ("In a Nursery Rhyme"), also "Domino's" song is another great example of how corporations feed on us,
Wow. Best break down of all! I didn’t look at it like that but your reaction makes the most sense! Brilliant. It makes me respect Ren even more for his depth and incredible way of displaying his ideas. So good ❤
Symbology!🤣🤣Love this series so much. ❤❤ That is Ren playing the piano at the start. He's sneakily a multi instrumentalist, as well as the proud title holder of the most common potatoes! He slso is the barber to his crew and his wiki feet page is going off lol. Im sure hes part alien. Love your breakdown of this. ❤❤
Great reaction...you brought up ideas no one else has mentioned! I don't know why you don't have more subs! Someone said in another reaction that the man with the bag on his head never reacted to anything that Ren was doing until he drew eyes on him which I thought was a good interpretation.
Brilliant mate, learned a lot from you 😅. Check out REN’s first Live TV appearance at the Sky Arts Awards - lad was awesome. He chose Money Game 2 for this illustrious audience 😂
First reacter I have watched that made a connection between the ending scene of Money Game 1 and 3 with a comparison of the gasoline to the rain and the ending of a life.
I'm always around for Ren, and the reaction community as a whole has widened the genres of what I listen to drastically over the past couple of years. One band that I've found recently is young, independent, rock genre and is absolute fire. They're also very reactor friendly. I'd love for you to check them out. Their name is Freeze the Fall and their songs 'VHS' and "Daughters of Witches" show their talented skills very well. Yes. MG1 is one take. It took them 136 tries over 3 days to get the "right" take. It was cold, damp and smelly in the public area they chose for one. Three was meant to be one take but they had issues with the rain machine and so did a single cut at the wheelchair back.
Excellent reaction. Ren is beyond creative, he's genius. Unfortunately I think we've fucked the world up beyond repair and I'm glad I never had children and more of my life is behind me than ahead.
We have certailny as a species done this planet harm and the trash we leave in sink holes will be around for thousands of years, I just don't se how humans cant make waste though?
@thechildishreaction The world population is 8.2 billion. It's estimated to reach 9.7 billion by 2050. That's mind boggling. I guess I'm cynical but I think we are past the point of a viable solution. Do you listen to Tool? I guess we need to learn to swim. 🖤
We don't need Utopia, but we could definitely do better. We don't need to throw out everything, just be more aware, more involved and more compassionate. The sad thing is we all already know what Ren is talking about, but we don't always remember, or act like we do.
186 takes over several days to get the one shot MG1. This was Ren and Samuel's first one shot and was learning direction. The Vikings story was fascinating. There was a series on the History channel about the Vikings. I am descended from Denmark that was pillaged by some Norwegians also I think. I might get my details mixed up, it was long time ago that I watched that series.
This was FANTASTIC! Thank you for giving us so much in one video!! (Yes, I’m greedy like that. 😬🫣🙃) You really took this in, and picked up SO much! Definitely one of the best reactions to this trilogy!! I agree w a lot of what you said about ending of MG1- I think once society opened their eyes- they were able to fight back/ fight the system. MG2 is my favorite! (Today 😂) MG3 has a couple of great BTS videos of what went into it. Amazing! Ren and Sam won some big awards for that one- and was the first video they had done with a decent amount of budget behind it. Loving having you back, and sharing in your journey! Love from Colorado USA🫶
They are just incredible stories and some of us just don't want to hear the truth and he makes us feel it in these videos, so much skill and talent in his videos. Thank you for the kind comment
Regarding the last things you said: I think a big part of the problem is that we look at a rich man doing terrible things and excuse his sins because we think, we hope, “someday it could be me with all that money”. But we look at the mother buying food with food stamps, and we have no empathy or even sympathy because nobody thinks “someday that could be me”. The powers that be are more aware of this than your average person so they know how easy it is to pit one poor person against another poor person. Get the blue collar working white man angry at the working immigrant. Get us angry at the people who need help… even tho we all need help sometimes. It will make us forget that there are people blithely spending five figures on a handbag while people a few blocks away are starving. There’s nothing wrong with you, for example, building up your business, your channel, in order to make a living. There’s nothing to apologize for. it’s the greed… It’s when a living isn’t enough. It’s when we start taking from others. That’s when the problems start. Chasing that dragon doesn’t only apply to drugs and vices. Great reaction. ☮️♥️
what a great comment I thank ytou for your long insight to this video and appreciate your support with regards to building a channel. much love my friend xx
Great reaction! Yes, Ren is a genius in every way. I really enjoy your reactions too. You are very introspective, you get the human condition, and just your overall intelligence is refreshing. My niece suggested that I watch this newish documentary called Buy Now- The Shopping Conspiracy. Well, I did. Let me just say that I think you would enjoy it because you would get a lot out of it. I think it's the most important documentary of our time. It's on Netflix and it's free (if you subscribe to netflix, of course) 😞 But I didn't mean to take away from Ren and your reaction. I've read in the comments that this is the best reaction to the money game trilogy that people have seen. And I must agree! Keep up the great work. You're awesome. ❤ Just like Ren. ❤
I think in part 1 he is taking his own advice - looking in the mirror and starting with himself - not the other guy -he does the same at end of Sickbpi with virtually the same comment! And also a reference to the monk that self immolated in Vietnam as a protest. Great react ... 😊❤🎉
There is a "making off" of the MG3. You can see how Sam and crew (bc there was a lot of people involved) created this masterpiece. It is worth the watch.
It's like Ren tried to rid the world of the desease, finally came to truth, off'd himself as a sacrifice for what he couldn't bear to see in himself. Canary in the cage, a willing one?
Money Game 2. Shell Oil started out trading seas shells from the Pacific South Seas to Europe before turning to oil... business economics in a nursery rhyme. Oh, and relate this to the line in "Hi Ren" - "She sells sea shells on the sea shore", which references Money Game 2 (which was done before Hi Ren) and also the same line from the Eminem movie Eight Mile, where it's used again. Ren constructs complex literary/cultural references that weave throughout and across his songs... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shell_plc
Yes. Part 1 one take. I think it took like over 180 tries. I believe it was the first or one of the first attempts at a one take so there was a learning curve.
Spoiling us with all 3, nice one. Have to disagree with us all being supplied with things we want, because the money game first convinces everyone they “need” the things. We don’t want the convenient packaging, it’s forced on us. Corporations and governments could make the changes to stop it being produced, but they don’t. You want to buy loose produce in the supermarket? Tough, because you have to buy 3 in a plastic bag instead, they have convinced us that only vegetables of a certain weight and shape are edible, the marketing ploys and brainwashing are insidious. That’s the point of the seashell rhyme. Governments and corporations aren’t responding to what we want, they tell us what we want. Some of us have eyes, the rest are just running towards the cliff, but they’re dragging us along with the stampede.
I think they should make huge changes and we just have to deal with the changes right and if they did more research into real biodegradable packaging and that all companies need to use it 100% we could be in a better place
@@thechildishreactionmoney could be used to make the planet better, to make everyone’s lives better, but instead the worst people collect it just for themselves because of whatever insecurities or mental illness they have 😞. The rest of us can’t comprehend these behaviours, because it’s always going to be the sociopaths and narcissists that fight for the positions of power. Many people want more than what they have and many just want to live comfortably, but the ones that want money power are the ones that shouldn’t have it, they have no empathy or compassion
Hey great reaction, seriously, and I'm really liking your channel and all your reactions, so don't think that I'm throwing shade at ya, but I think you were close, but off the mark a tad, just on MG1. And I don't know what's going on with the Renegades, Ren has talked about this several times, they should know better...lol I know music is subjective, and people can interpret songs different ways that tie into their life, but those are songs of love or emotional struggle, or philosophical. With this song Ren's symbolism is intentional and fairly specific. The character wearing the burlap sack over their head in MG1 represents the bourgeoisie class, maybe a politician, or some big CEO, who it exactly is, is what's left up for interpretation. The actual sack over people's head doesn't have anything to do with who they're supposed to specifically represent, in MG1 or MG3, it's just a way of presenting a story, all but the main character, the story teller, are faceless people within the story. Ren is playing the proletariat, and he's not blaming himself or the working class, he's simply stating the West is sooo entrenched in capitalism and consumerism that we're all part of the money game whether we like it or not, it's become a necessity to partake in the "money game" in order to survive. Yes, Ren does not like greed, but the money game and greed are not the same thing. As the proletariat he wants to punish his captured elitist, first he hits him with the glove, tries to hit him with the bat but can't bring himself to, draws eyes on him to represent that he's trying to open his eyes to all the damage and inequality and suffering his addiction to wealth and power has caused. Then he tries to burn him to death, but realizes that it won't do any good and that he'd be stooping to their level. Finally, he is left with nothing else but self immolation, the act of lighting one's self on fire as a form of protest. This is a DIRECT nod to Thich Quang Duc and Rage Against The Machine. Quang Duc became known as the "burning monk", he was a S. Vietnamese Buddhist monk that self immolated in 1963 to protest the murder of 6 monks and 3 civilians by the military/govt, because they outlawed all religions except Catholicism. Media was there, photo went viral, and the burning monk became an international symbol of peaceful resistance. RATM also used the photo for their 1993 debut album cover, and Ren is a HUGE fan of theirs, and he drops easter eggs about them in several songs/videos. Again, great reaction, just subbed!! ✌💚
❤❤❤ 🔥 🔥 🔥 Exactly. We ourselves must teach our children better so they are not fooled by the money game & so they live morally for themselves, others, and our planet. We must be mindful how we get & spend our money. We must make decisions so that no person, animal, or nature is negatively affected by our acquisition of wealth and spending. We are forced to play this money game. But we can make changes to fight the corruption.
Maybe it's just me, but my children are much smarter about money than I am. I am terrible with money which is my own fault, but I wasn't taught anything about money in school and my parents never spoke to me about it. You're absolutely right though and I need to do much better than I have been.
For more of singing Ren, please react to anything by The Big Push (the band Ren was a part of)! You will thank yourself! I would check out What Kind of Woman is This, Wade in the Water/Trouble So Hard/Feeling Good, Red suspender series for I shot the Sheriff medley, Paint it Black, and War Pigs!
U need to have some fun rappity rap Ren now 😊 The Hunger, Power, Losing It, Genesis, Murderer, Animal Flow; Bittersweet Symphony - video and there's a live; Illest Of Our Time, Love Music 1 to 4, 1990s - hilarious, What You Want - all different - all fire! 😊❤🎉🐷🐷🐷🐷
Referring to part 3: i don't think He meant someone specific ... BUT: my opinion: when you look around the world, right now, there are some "Jimmies" all around the World, with money, Power, arms ... Putin, Trump, Assad, and many other rich autocrates, and Musk not far away from the position to Also "deal" with arms and Power... Trump is a bit older now, but Musk? In this dangerous position at the side of Trump ... ?
Best reaction to this trilogy I have seen (and I've seen a lot). You broke it down and understood it so well. Bravo!! ❤👍
I absolutely agree.😉
I absolutely agree.😉
Me three 😂 great reaction 💜
Me 4!!! hahaha Thank you all and that just made my day haha
@thechildishreaction great catching the symbolism!
The money bag over the head with the noose tied round the neck is all of us, blinded and enslaved by greed.
He tries to draw some eyes on it, but that shit didn't work
yep that makes so much sense

I can't say any more than BadWolf (as usual) amazing reaction, heartfelt, and you actually get it. Welcome to the Book Club

I concur that this is one of the best reactions to money game trilogy. Loved your insights.
Thank you I appreciate that and it means a lot
Fantastic reaction to a truly amazing set of tracks. Ren is a musical and artistic genius.
Couldn't agree more! thank you so much
As a dane I can say NO; the saxons (sakserne) where DEFINITLY NOT vikings...😉 and yes the danish vikings colonised a part (of the nowadays England) and named it "Danelagen".
Thats why english has so many danish words, and England a lot of places/cities with danish names fx Grimsby.
Thank you for reacting to Ren👍; he is a genius.❤️

haha I have 5% Scandinavian in my blood so I have a hint of that Viking invasion in me haha

wow he deserves everything, him and his team are incredible artist and production at that level deserves the awards
"The more a society drifts away from the truth, the more it will hate those that speak it."
- George Orwell
Well, I hope you don't hate me then, but Orwell did not say that, Selwyn Duke did, he's a former professional tennis player turned writer/lecturer who does social commentary. He's a conservative darling and Christian nationalist who used to be on the Rush Limbaugh show. Yes. Part 1 one take. I think it took like over 180 tries. I believe it was the first or one of the first attempts at a one take so there was a learning curve.
that's incredible
Great breakdown and reaction.
Appreciate that, thank you so much
Ren❤❤❤❤
Ren love all day
Even in his lyrics 15years ago its greed what bothers him most !
@@rabensteinerronald7875 I need to go way back and see his videos
Go back to Part 1
"Turns a saint into a Sinner, A Child into a Killer, His finger on the trigger...."
Meet Jimmy.
its deep right!
Masks: insert face here.
It’s any of us. It’s all of us.
yeah its the people right... he is smart for this
Yes, you’ve pretty much figured out what he’s saying. Ren dislikes greed most of all, and he blames us all, himself included.
Its a sad truth we all need to accept to even try make change
What!!!???? No, he absolutely does not "blame" himself or all of us.
Omg, I want a vanillia orchid!!!😮
Its so cute and it grows like mad. I have some other cuttings maybe I send them to beautiful home haha
I know, me too! However, as I look at the snow outside, I doubt it would survive a Canadian winter😮💨
@Leeny017 make a mini green house haha
Hey great reaction, seriously, and I'm really liking your channel and all your reactions, so don't think that I'm throwing shade at ya, but I think you were close, but off the mark a tad, just on MG1. And I don't know what's going on with the Renegades, Ren has talked about this several times, they should know better...lol
I know music is subjective, and people can interpret songs different ways that tie into their life, but those are songs of love or emotional struggle, or philosophical.
@sunshynff epic insight my friend I enjoyed reading this and i can see so many points you make well played 🙌 and thanks for the sub 👍 😀
@@thechildishreaction 💚💚💚💚
One take again! 180 goes at it apparently but one take/shot! 😊
❤❤❤ 🔥 🔥 🔥
Exactly.
You're absolutely right though and I need to do much better than I have been.
well said my friend xx

I don't think Thunberg flies on a private jet. Or flies at all.
@mikkoheikka9579 🤣 she blatantly didn't condem the big climate change big wigs flying into the climate change meeting they have on private jets
Ok, my bad. I get it now, I'm sorry. I thought that you meant that she flies on private jets when you said that she flies on private jets.
