    Nice informative video. I will putting PC in my C90 during the winter. The only suggestion that I have is that as soon as the cap is off the tank, stuff a clean towel in it so nothing goes in the tank - the throttle barrels too. Also, as soon as I got a metric bike, I got set of metric Allen sockets. They sure beat the Allen keys that are purposely designed to scratch paint!

    Nice how to vid. I was thinking of getting this exact system to put on my C-90T. But I want to modify it a little. Instead of having to take half the bike apart to adjust it, I want to move the LEDs and Pots to bar mounted box so I can keep track of the system at all times and make changes on the fly if necessary.

    So far you have been the only one who talked about the LEDs and shown them light up. When you accelerated the yellow blinked. So I guess it is normal.

    Nice job. I appreciate you doing this video as I'm new to the Suz Blvd and have cobra pipes and the bike is backfiring a lot and I want to get a tuner. I feel confident to do the job now you showed us how. Really appreciate it.

      I seem to have the same issue. Ik your comment is old but if I may ask how did it go? The bike I just got has cobra pipes and no tuner and it pops a ton! Seems like it's running rich to me but I'm not entirely sure

    Nice vid bro. I'll be installing the cobra Fi2000 power pro auto tune this weekend, along with a k&n filter.

    I bought a c90t and seems like it’s tuned to high. It has Vance and Hines with no baffles and I’m trying to find a good setting or what it’s supposed to be. No many videos or info on that. Any advice would help. Thank you.

    Hi Rick, i own a 2005 C90, European C1500, and after instaling the Cobra speedsterlongs pipes and the FI2000R processor the bike red FI led indicator remains on somethimes after riding at higher speed. Why .... did you encounter this problem on your bike.... With the oem exaust i didnt had this problem....

    • @RickMammana
      @RickMammana  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, No I didn't have that problem but I know there are many reasons that light would come on. Maybe this video will help. th-cam.com/video/QClVBte5rxM/w-d-xo.html
      Try reading the code when the light comes on. I hope reading the code works the same way on your bike.
      Good luck, Rick

    Hey brother amazing video. I just got a 08 c90 with cobra like yours but for some reason that processor wasn't installed by the previous owner. What would the bike do to tell me it needs one? Thank you

      +Sergio Medeiros Now that you mention it yeah once in a while I would get a backfire. Not since I installed this. :) :)

      On C90's when you put pipes on you may get popping through the exhaust. A fuel controller can mitigate this, or some remove the PAIR valve emissions device, which also contributes to popping because it injects air into the system to clean up the exhaust. You don't really NEED a fuel controller with pipes, but you do if you free up the intake side (like with an open-top K&N filter). Most bikes run a little lean from the factory anyway for emissions, so a fuel controller can help the bike run the way it should have. Running richer will help keep an air-cooled engine cooler.

    Awesome instructions. Are you running the stock settings or did you modify the pots?

    Hi there its me again, i have watched over and over again your posts, it helped a lott....now i have a new question ...did you or did you not removed the secondary pair valve small box from the left side of your bike, and if you did when you removed the wires and tubes, was there under the left chuby cover ...where the regulator sits,.... a white plastic connector wich has any relation with the pairvalve and must be disconected. I asked you because i just changed that cover and i noticed there this conector wich isnt conected to anything. Thanks

    • @RickMammana
      @RickMammana  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, No I didn't remove that. That white connector might be a diagnostic plug for factory codes? I'm not sure but it's probably something like that, especially if it doesn't go anywhere.
      Thanks, Rick

    • @aurelianiacob8390
      @aurelianiacob8390 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      OK Thanks, since the owner wich i buyed the bike did removed the small pairvalve box i presume that the connector blong to it.
      Your pair valve is still on the bike you say, but i saw something that looks like a horn not the pair valve.
      Ok thanks again

    I have a 2007 C90 with cobra Slashdown pipes. Backfires and pops. Has a power commander. I would like to replace with FI2000r to hopefully eliminate the poping.

    • @RickMammana
      @RickMammana  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, The FI200R will help that but there are better units out now that you can change the settings as you're riding. I can't think of the name off hand but if you search you'll find it. Good luck and thanks for watching!
