I see why Rich pisses on this game. Doesn't seem to be a time limit anymore and the whole rescue feature has been thrown under the bus. Having seen games ruined before, it looks exactly like people who bitched and cried, had the game catered to them. Making choices and not being able to do everything, used to be the entire point. They had great replay value to do different things. Doesn't seem like this one would, from what I've seen so far.
The whole illegals thing is a little heavy handed, but the point should be well taken. I think I'd have really loved this game if they had kept the spirit of the first two. No time crunch and no survivor escort missions?? Those were what I loved about DA1&2. Why didn't they just call this game "Zombie Escape" or "Outbreak 2018" or "Zombie Ouija Apocalypse."? It's sad that we have to ruin franchises and IP because the game industry thinks we're all stupid and can't be trusted to just buy a good game. The problem might not be us, but it might be them; afraid that because of their shady business practices, known employee abuses, and shoddy accountability, they aren't sure if the game WILL actually be any good. Better not take a risk, better just to slap a brand name on it and ride those launch weekend dollars until they trickle down to nothing! Don't feel too bad for them though, they'll make it up with paywall perks and DLCs and day one passes and firing the team that made the game in the first place so they don't have to keep paying them!

If you don't like Dead Rising 3 because it's too easy then you'll hate Dead Rising 4. You're basically superman and you can just straight up buy combo weapons from an in game store before you've found the blueprints for them. I didn't die once on my first playthrough and once it was done i couldn't stomach going back to get more of the PS4 trophies. It's not a bad game, it's just really underwhelming. Oh yeah the boss fights are fucking shit. Dead Rising 1 and 2 were so great too.
