Green peas are in season and I received a big batch of Matar from someone who does organic farming. The freshness of green peas was just refreshing. I remember having matar ka paratha during winters in Punjab. Matar being extremely healthy, my relatives made me have it for breakfast! I prepped the paratha with this green thecha which tastes incredible with it. Specially when you have it the way I have shown in the video. Nicely have this on a cold Sunday morning with some butter on top and thecha which will just take your matar paratha to the next level. Also shooting Matar Paneer and Sarso ka saag next. I just made parathas.. oh my god never thought I would taste this great.. thank you so much Sanjyot for this wonderful recipe.. from 500gms of peas I got 13 parathas, my parathas are thin though compared to yours my family likes it thin and soft.. thank you so much once again
Maine matar ke paranthe kabhi nhi banaye but after watching this i will try this parantha it looks yum. Your recipes are so good i tried your paneer makhni biriyani and wo sabko ghar me bhot pasand aayi thank you

This is actually very famous recipe in uttar pradesh. People make matar kachori also with the same recipe. To get the more enhanced flavour you can crush the matar with the help of sil batta, that gives it more authentic flavour.
