I've used my maps extensively...importing an Excel spreadsheet (with Google geocoding...latitude & longitude) into my maps. It works great! 👍🏻 I really appreciated the extra detail on multiple layers. I've not needed more than one, but I can see how useful it will be. Please consider uploading another video on this topic. My spreadsheet will not import. Even created a simple spreadsheet with two just addresses and used the same headers as yours. Thoughts why it's not importing?
Is there a way to make this auto fill based on information added to a google sheet? I thought Geosheets was the answer, but that service seems to have crashed.

this was very helpful. i had a few items that I had added by clicking on the + sign and it appeared on the map. later i had a separate spreadsheet that i tried to add to the same layer and it went bananas. how could i rectify this? unless you have already made another video...... 😀

The information you provided was excellent and fairly easy to follow which I need because it takes me awhile to learn new features such as this even though I have the basics of excel firmly down. I am importing excel data by state into google maps. For some reason I get an error saying 20 of the 42 states on the list can't be added because of errors. It says to open the data table to fix the errors. However, when I open the data table, all the state entries are correct. Changing abbreviation to the state name doesn't work, because it defaults the state of Georgia to the country of Georgia. Clicking on the red triangle doesn't help, because t doesn't give any information.

how can we reimport data, without changing existing data? I was trying the reimport option. new data was added but all formats restored
