Shawn Michaels HBK on Much Music w Bill Welychka, Canada, March 1996 - Pre Wrestlemania 12

While this is nowhere near as painful as his 1995 stop on the Canadian Home Shopping Channel (also posted on my channel) this interview with Much Alumni Bill Welychka is still super awkward and uncomfortable. No idea why that is. Welychka is talented and I’ve watched him pull great interviews out of people. I guess neither of them understand why Shawn Michaels is on a music video channel up in Canada...and neither do I, but we get a 386th version of what happened the night he was jumped in Syracuse and we conclude, not once, but twice, that sleeping with fans is a great perk of being a pro wrestler.
Between this and the Home Shopping Channel appearance I wonder if he of would still hated Canada even if Montreal didn’t happen.

I am the biggest Shawn💔Michaels fan and I totally have that life-size cut out❣
I would have liked to see that footage from Syracuse but it's not on here even though you're description says it is?🤷‍♀️
And the only awkward thing about the interview was the arm wrestling bit on the TV!

There is no footage of the Syracuse incident...but it was in newspapers the next day where he was jumped outside the Syracuse bar after he hit on one of the marines wives.123 Kid tried to help him but was swatted aside..and British Bulldog was too out of it on booze and somas to actually do anything. But as far as I know..there is no footage. But people are gonna try and tell the story their way seeing as they hate how HBK was in the 90s.
